I can’t believe some still think it’s not a hit and nobody is watching it and it will not break even and all
because KRK is saying some dumb shit

Dinesh Vijan can sit and not do any work with the amount of money he made through Stree 2 itself
which was a Bekaar film but ROI is pretty insane..just about as good as Gadar 2.
solid 22-24 cr e estimates for monday
sikandar tak chalege yeh ab 400 cr on ha
I maybe the odd person who didn't like the film..I spent 7 years of my school life studying about Aurangazeb and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj plus full doze of India's freedom struggle. My school was affliated to the Mahrashtra State Board. PUNE DIVISION.
There's a lot of Pushpa, RRR effects in the film hence the fight scenes are full of of adrenaline. I watched old Marathi films and documentaries on the Maratha Empire which were realistic. Thats about it.
As far as actors are concerned apart from Vicky Kaushal standing ovation should be given to Akshaye Khanna. I didn't like Rashmika.
No film and actor portrayed Aurangazeb like Akshaye. Man was Luicifer or Shaitan.
that scene was a baffling one with those lines. frankly speaking, she wasn't that impressive overall as his wife. there was this one scene where i think she and few soldiers get one of chaava'a traitors but execution was thanda over there.
Marathi society has always been very advanced in the role of the woman beyond the traditional mother > wife so this is just insane. That's like a regressive 80s South Indian potboiler mentality. Jijiabai would have never stood for it.

I watched it and didn't like it either. The film could have rescripted, re-boarded honestly with the same cast and the effects would be much better. My biggest issue was dialogue and expressions/delivery which was a director choice, and a bad one at that. Akshaye did great but he was given a bad slate to work with smh. The BGM was also quite horrible for a film of that scope.
i was primarily interested for akshaye's role based from the initial promos but even his role fell flat despite good acting. all i saw him eat was grapes until the climax & the buildup wasn't even flattering execution wise.Originally posted by: VimalPanMasala

Movie has been watched. It was an OK one time watch with exceptional pieces thrown in between which kept me going, especially, like everyone else was saying, the last 40 mnts.
Vicky was very good but his dialogue delivery was so out of the place for a Marathi warrior. It’s like a Punjabi warrior’s soul ghusaofied into a Marathi guy, but that’s largely a failure of the director for not focusing on the detail because knowing Vicky he would’ve delivered the accent has it been the requirement from the director.
My biggest disappointment though was the music. Being an ardent fan of ARR it pained my heart to watch the mediocrity reel after reel after reel.
My most favorite take away is Akshay Khanna’s Aurangzeb performance. 😍
