It's extremely easy to pick out the corporate films. As Corporate Bookings usually only happen in Week 1 to set a Box office Narrative, all you have to do is look at the Week 1 to Week 2 collections. A successful films drop range is between 55-63% historically Week 1 to Week 2. The larger the deviance from that range, the more the money pumped into the film.

Pushpa 2- 55%

Gadar 2- 56%

Animal- 57%

Stree 2- 58%

Tiger 3- 61%

Bhool Bhulaiya 3- 63%( Slight Corporate Booking)

Jawan- 65%( Slight Corporate booking)

Brahmastra- 66%( Corporate Booking)

Pathaan- 67%( Corporate Booking)

Singham 3- 73%( Corporate Booking 3XL)

Sky Force- 78%( Pure SCAM)

People have started whining about Corporate booking for every film now. Will reserve my judgement until the numbers come in. If it is indeed another Sky Force like scam, it won't be good for Maddocks reputation.

Stats and numbers 🙌🏻

This is how it should be done. So have to wait for week 2 to conclude anything 👍🏻

To be honest I would not say that Vicky forgot how to act. In fact, he is ahead of most of the actors nowadays. But there is a pretty noticeable difference between Vicky’s performance in Masaan and his performance in Sam Bahadur. This is what I rather mean when I say that he is losing the underratedness of him as an actor just to be famous.

Well SRK’s films did suffer from corporate booking, and the real collection of them may be lower than 1000 crore but that does not necessarily mean that you would consider them commercial failures. There are videos of people dancing to Jhoome Jo Pathan in theaters. Otherwise, looks like most of movies nowadays are suffering from corporate booking.

Can someone explain whats the issue with corporate booking? Are the seats filled or empty? If filled what’s the problem? Its a great strategy

The issue is that the producers are buying the tickets, to make it seem like the general audience has bought them, but they haven't. The seats are not getting filled unless the producers are giving away the tickets they bought for free to give off the impression that seats have been organically filled. It's deception and it's lying, and any producer can now do this to make any film into a hit. They will make the opening day number so big to try to make the lead actor into a star and to keep up the successful streak for the producers.

Maddock seems to be hellbent on every film they put out to be a hit ever since stree 2s big success

Jawaan and Pathan both did it too. SRK and Deepika both guilty of corporate booking 🤓

And it seems ranveer too for Singham 3 by association 🤣 They all seem to be part of this corporate booking culture
