I wish someone made a show or movie exactly like the book written by Valimiki. I guess makers are scared how audience reacts or they what to satisfy the political scenario currently in India. Don't know why they cannot show raw emotions of Ramji.

It would have been relatable and believable and lovable.I mean all of us loose control on our emotions - he it ,anger,grief ,feeling lost.Then why not Rama who was born a mortal and had all the limitations that a normal human being has.

Yes, it was always odd that in series' Ram always gives more importance to Kaikeyi than Kaushalya... It's ridiculous - be it decorum or personal relationship, Kaushalya always comes first since she is Dasaratha's first queen. Rama mentioned that to make Lakshmana stay and also doubted that Bharatha may harm his mother to which Lakshman replied that Kaushalya has enough assets to help her live comfortably and she was capable enough to defend herself and his mother Sumitra. Lakshmana has always been made secondary. I hate it when they have to downplay a character just to make the hero look good. It does not achieve that goal, rather makes the hero look like an excuse. In this series, they show Bharat to be more artistic and not good in martial arts and he wins only when Rama let's him. Show makers don't need to do this. Rama ruling over capable people itself is a testimony to his prowess. They don't have to downplay anyone.

Another thing that irks me is Sushena being Lanka's royal physician. He was part of Vanara Sena. Rama did not need to borrow anything or anyone from Lanka. He had everything he needed.

I couldn't understand why they depicted Bharata to be completely dependent on Rama.Surely he was a softie and emotional in VR but showing him weak was not good even though Swastik did it nicely.The actor acted sincerely though. However he was not that great in his performance .But he was someone who really put his all for the role.Perhaps it's because he is a rookie.

Waiting to watch Ramayan movie by Dangal director with Ranbir as a lead. But I am sceptical if they will justify the epic. I always found bollywood makers don't do justice to epics like Mahabharat/Ramayan. South industry have also made good mytho movies in a grand way justifying the stories to a large extent. I still felt the makers should have taken a new actor for the lead roles of Ram/Sita. Even though I like Ranbir as an actor but it's not easy to potray Ramji.

For me it was the worst casting ever..I know we don't know these actors personally but the actor who is being chosen to play the role is on the opposite side of the spectrum in terms of personality.Whike Prabhas looked wooden , Mr Kapoor looked quite effeminate in the poster shots.One of the reasons why off late his PR team is doing a lot of underground cleaning and trying to clear up his off screen persona so that the people would be accepting and this movie won't be a disaster like Adi purush.

Adhipurush is the worst ever movie based on Ramayan. Ranbir/Sai pallavi are not the right cast for the role. Lets see how they present. Prabhas was better as Karna than Ram. Don't know why cannot they take new/talented actors for these roles than superstars.
