It doesn’t look like animal movie at all . Not sure where is this comparison coming from

It looks like an action movie like any other bw action movie

^ Well the way he is carrying himself , the gore etc. (for eg. 0:14-0:21) clearly have imprints of recent 900+ cr. Animal . But more so , it is the theme of a 'cool' gore/violence he is trying to sell which was the point not Animal or plot . Just like recent wave of these desi movies that are also worded as action movies making a kill out of this theme - India's most violent film caused viewers to throw up in theatre, beat Pushpa 2 at box office; it's not Animal, Kill, KGF

But as I said , with Himesh as director as also actor , it will probably be on the farcical/comical side unlike other ones despite how much he is despo to incorporate & sell this cool theme .

Its clearly a satire (a very unsubtle one) on the mindless action movies that have been in Indian Film Industry for ages ..

They are very unabashed about it being "retro reloaded", "80s style ki movie", etc etc

The Gore action with cheesy over the top dialogues also looks comical here .. and not anything intense like you are suggesting

Satire - the use of humour to attack a person, an idea or behaviour that you think is bad or silly

It is anything but satire lol . Simply a cheesy masala take by the master Himesh trying to milk the ongoing gore wave that's it (conclusivity subjected to 7th Feb.) .
