They can be foreshadowing or they could be taken in different context. That’s the problem with a lot of these lines, they’re open for interpretation and we won’t really know until the end. Maybe it is to keep the suspense going.

To combat scenes like this, we other scenes before the marriage where it felt like Sadaf was falling for Bilal and it was clear at that point, she had no feelings for Ammar.

@bold Even I have felt like that...lot of these lines are foreshadowing and open for interpretation..but you never know where is this going until the end...and I saw some youtube comments..it seems like people actually waiting to see how this drama reaches the climax.

One dialogue which implies a sad ending has been constant throughout the show and repeated by the cast members too

' Jaha bhi Dil ho, Jake pucho ke tootna Likha hua hain'

I still didn’t feel it cheapened it because they were just talking. She was decently dressed, it was more about being alone with Bilal that required an explanation.

Even if these two just discuss feelings but don’t act on them until the iddat period is over, is that considered a violation? Maybe not?

strictly speaking, it is not allowed for a woman to meet any "na-mehrum" man accept her ex-husband.

divorced woman can dress up only for her ex-husband during iddat.

And the dialogue is so complicated, I feel like I’m back in high school trying to decipher Shakespeare. Like I understand basic Urdu but this is too complicated for me. Also disclaimer, I’m not trying to elevate KRQ’s status to Shakespeare’s 🤣 I just find it just as hard to understand.

The setup was weird but the conversation was good..its just a heartfelt confession of their feelings and their philosophies of love based on their experience. How they reached that stage when Sadaf was covering her head before the scene in the office didn't make sense.

I do understand but dramas violate many aspects of religion. Sadaf also shouldn’t have danced with Ammar at her Mehendi as he wasn’t her husband yet but they did and no one took issue with it.

That scene should have executed as Sadaf being vulnerable and broken lamenting why Bilal let her get destroyed like this if he loved her why he didn't fight for her. Someone who is feeling worthless and so bikhri hui that she thinks if she turns back time and undoes her past mistakes, everything will be hunky dory again and she will get her self confidence and all that she lost back. Not just writing but execution to a large extent failed to focus on Sadaf's vulnerability and make it about other things.

OMG...we also had to read Shakespearen play when I was in high school and my brain cells were deadsmiley36 I m having the same problem nowsmiley36Tbh,the dialogues and philosophies in this show aren't that bad if you go on a deeper level(minus Dania's dialogues which were psychotic) unfortunately the flaws and absurdities are so high that the impact of those philosophies are diluted. This dynamics between Bilal-Sadaf is not really very straightforward and needs to be understood through the philosophies or emotions they are going through. Overall its not that bad or uninteresting but the way everything is happening actually is very weirdsmiley44IDK the direction is faulty or writing
