I absolutely loved it. I heard that reviews coming are positive even though many are not coming to Watch. Positive Movie hai to positive hi review aayega na. Maybe people thinking fighter ka copy hoga but it's 10x better. (Deepika ke nahi hone se 5x already better ho gaya smiley36) This movie in on heavy emotional side and aptly describes the real life incidents. Akki was great but usko uniform me dekhna looked wierd. I wish Veer ke jagah koi better hota but okayish for a debutant.

I think this is what Fighter was aiming to make, movie on air battle but unke Paas real life documentation (Sabse Pehle Balakot ka Idea kisne diya? smiley37) nahi tha isliye OTT cringe bakwas with stupid stuff ban gaya wo. Na sir na pair na story me substance just too much of Heroic behaviour.

What Skyforce did well was pick the good dialogues of Fighter and seamlessly integrate them here. The air battle was actually real backed by documentary evidences.

One more good thing about Skyforce was Fighter me Actually the character looked heroic and stuff.

I guess unka focus hi wahi tha.

Skyforce me Indian Air force as a team was shown hero. Greater movie on a lesser budget.

I bet majority won't be disappointed unless you don't like this genre at all.

I doubt it. Few good movies with it and Then Ramayan which makes it unfair.

Is anyone watching this?

Saw a bigger crowd for Ramayana today at cinemas.

Unfair to compare with Ramayana IMO

1. It's Ramayana

2. It's nostalgia for most of us. Many have watched it in TV in childhood during Vacations.

3. It's Animated and that will increase the child audiences.

As expected, the usual SRK haters would tell us in which way - allegedly - SRK did wrong - in a thread that is about an Akshay movie (more than one year later)...of course without a proof that SRK even was involved...

Why not just concentrate on this movie which seems to be quite authentic in telling the story of the 1965 air strike. I'm more interested in the content of a movie and how it is made (among others the quality like acting, cinematography, VFX etc)... this isn't anything one can fake once the movie is out (although the individual perceptions can differ). Numbers don't matter to m e, not the ones of SRK moviesand not the ones of Akshay's even though I may report them as a contribution to a thread.

interesting review, imo:

I'm not comparing it to Ramayana. It was a genuine question.

There are many around me who had no idea Ramayana was releasing until I told them...young parents included...since Excel didn't do some heavy major promoting and stuck to social media to target 90s kids.

I also knew about it because I've been wanting the movie to get a respectful nationwide release, which it was wrongly denied of in the 90s.

Sky Force's BO collection is in double digit crores and Ramayana collected 40 lakhs on Day 1. Which did get me wondering how my Audi had more number of people. And I checked BMS yesterday...Sky Force and Ramayana had show timings very close to one another. SF was already "filling fast"...yet when it come to people at the cinema, I didn't see the crowd for SF.

Even today, SF is filling fast, Ramayana has most shows in green except 2-3 which are close to getting sold out.

I don't think I'm comparing when I'm just looking at certain stats and they don't seem to add up.
