Iirc , Hathyar was already a sequel . I guess they are conceptualizing it as a remake . Whatever , Vaastav was legend back then iirc . Remember yutes that were like pachas tola....pachas tola etc. . Slim chance a remake would cast the same spell imo which they must be looking forward to , a re-release might have lower odds with nostalgic crowd (maybe they can put up props stall of pachas tola etc. for that) .

Remakes of legendary movies tend to end up like that loser progeny that spoils dad's name . Or atleast when its RGV .
