I like that Bilal isn’t instantly getting into a relationship with Sadaf. He is trying to rationally think about this because he knows that she isn’t rationally thinking herself. She’s impulsive and has been back and forth on the Lahore assignment so he isn’t sure about how sure she is in her decisions. I remember how he responded when she said that she doesn’t change her decisions…he told her that she already has. That along with his own issues with his mom makes it very realistic that he would hesitate starting anything with a married woman. I also like that he isn’t available for her to date and dump as she pleases.

The whole forgiving men over a mistake line is sooooo annoying though. I get why his character would say that but I need some realization at some point from his character,

Totally valid that he would he would not want to be in a relationship with a woman who is married considering his childhood trauma. It makes sense and I think we all talked about it in the past that this would always be an issue for Bilal. It would make no sense for him to not have any hesitation so I’m glad they kept him in character for that. Ammar is a cheater though so unless his dad was also a cheater, Ammar isn’t the same as him.

Agree. At least it gives his character more scope than just being a devoted lover.

It’s also possible that Bilal might now fake a relationship with Humsha so that Sadaf doesn’t pursue him.

I wonder how SMD would have been if they sticked to KRQ’s original plan of 26 episodes. I feel the show would have been far more watchable.
