This year when Radd aired everyone was like, Sherry has improved alot but now he is acting with perfection. I'm so impressed not a single scene where I could say he acted badly.

Exactly lol. I thought the title "ishq e junoon" refers to sheheryar's ishq-junoon type love towards ushna after their marriage but no, it refers to his love towards his father and the extent he goes in his love for his father (Similar to ranbir's junoon wala love towards his father inthe movie "animal")

From the title i was expecting some romance thriller story about ishq junoon relationship between sheheryar and ushna, but we are served with story about a son's love towards his father.

But anyways the story is gripping, direction is solid, visuals are amazing, heroine is beautiful(though her acting is funny) and hero is fantastic. Sheheryar is absolutely phenomenal in this drama.

OST mein bhi Rahim ka zyaada scenes maheen ke saath tha toh I was curious how this junoon will happen

I didn't get why he asked Afia to serve, he was soo upset with her in jail that he referred her as "uss aurat" when he was asking Ushna whether she took money to blame him!

Rahim is the adopted son of Ali Nawaz-Afia & Shehroz is their biological son. Ali Nawaz used to love Rahim the most for his dedication & achievements who had been an obedient child who always make him feel proud, while almost ignoring the existence of the spoilt brat Shehroz!

Afia on the other hand does anything to protect her son Shehroz & Rahim became sauthela for him from the moment Shehroz was born! But she didn't do anything against Rahim, though, until Shehroz almost killed Aiman, an employee of Rahim's hotel!

Rahim always tried to protect his spoilt baby brother when he does pranks etc, even though he always felt neglected seeing Afia taking kare of Shehroz while almost ignoring Rahim since childhood!

Shehroz had pushed Aiman into pool and Rahim, being a gentleman, rescued her but he requested Aiman to not let this thing go outside hotel, so that his hotel is not defamed since it might affect his father's reputation!

Rahim & Maheen used to be in love with each other since years & she has abandonment wounds since her father(politician) & mother are separated! Rahim handled her very delicately & promised to not hurt her when he was informed about her vulnerabilities by her father!

During the engagement ceremony of Maheen-Rahim, Shehroz forcefully took Aiman to Rahim's room and she ended up seriously injured when he slapped her & her head hit the edge of some furniture! Instead of rescuing her, Shehroz left her to die at a beach while Rahim tried to save her!

Now his mother sent Rahim to jail to protect Shehroz! Aiman has memory loss which is not disclosed to the family or anyone except Afia who in turn uses it to manipulate Aiman's thoughts & makes her blame Rahim for the incident!

Aiman's family has 3 greedy individuals, her mother, elder sister & her husband, handicapped father & a brother who's a cancer patient! She was engaged to another greedy cousin of her, Jamal, who took the blame of attempting to murder her for five crores! He also blamed Aiman of having interest in Rahim & trapping him in the case by falsely accusing!

In between Maheen also left Rahim alone because of all this & her family believes Rahim is guilty! Recently Rahim came out of jail promising himself to destroy everyone who caused damage to his & his papa's reputation! Baaki kya hoga, we'll have to see in upcoming e0isodes!

My mom is following this show diligently and loves it. I watched the latest episode with her yesterday and it definitely seems interesting.

Might background watch coz I’m not a fan of Ushna.
