Shrutika gave each hm a number of gifts that equal to how many times hms need to nominate them for them to be in the noms.

So for example, KV was given 5 gifts so he needed to be nominated 5 times to be in the noms. And Avisha got given 1 gift each which means they only needed to be nominated by 1 hm to be in the nominations.
