They've been saying this since day 1. In fact in the SH interview at least they mentioned the team ... earlier they had said that they made changes and ali said that he wrote the proposal scene

He was thanking the rest of the cast, crew, writer, director and the channel and everyone in the channel responsible for promoting the drama

It's not just that they have made changes. That's said by a lot of actors for a lot of dramas. Ali kind of blamed the other actors for not putting more effort into their characters and that's why the audience aren't interested in their storyline. Anmol was giving him the eyes.
