Like today... First she yells at ammar that just say sorry don't explain... Then she sulks in bed and says don't say sorry, just explain... Then when he starts to explain, she slaps him without listening completely...
She is so panicky when ammar comes home bec of the hospital thing and as soon as he says he has eaten she behaves as if he killed her cat...
The character makes no sense... What can an actor do with such nonsensical character???
i have said it before that the issue is that Maya cannot portray multiple mixed emotions simultaneously. She can play angry in one scene. She can play vulnerable in another scene. But she can't play angry-vulnerable-confused at the same time. I agree Sadaf jo bhi play karta usko gaaliyan padti but I think there was plenty of room to portray through expressions and body language Sadaf's ambivalence and mixed emotions and turmoil in a more nuanced and convincing manner. So yes the writing is horrible but acting main bhi room for improvement hai bohat. Esp. the dialogue delivery that I think Haseeb is making her do, as I have not seen her do this before, is not good.
I personally feel this is a miscasting. Sadaf is the kind of character that someone like Mehwish would have played very well 10 years ago. That kind aura that Mehwish has was needed for Sadaf.
I said this about Wahaj as well before as Bilal Abdullah but it is much more amplified in case of Maya ke inki grip character or uske graph pe kamzor hai. This is beyond just writing but also a performance issue.

She does love Ammar right now. She married him and she’s committed to him. She might have felt something for Bilal at one point but she put all that aside and is committed to her husband.Sadaf loves amaar yaar... Like look at her panic on the idea of him being in the hospital... How she tells humsha ki uske bina rehne ki aadat nahin rahi...
Saying that she loves billu just bec dil ke kisi kaune mein woh hoga is rubbish... Lot of ppl have someone that they were attracted to but nothing happened and they married another and fell in love..
Had psycho daniya not happened and humsha not egged her on, she would have happily lived with ammar all her life

I disagree that they would be living happily if Dania didn’t come back. He would always be insecure of Bilal Abdullah but doesn’t have enough self respect to not take his money. He also has these hidden vices that are bound to strain any marriage. Dania may have escalated things but this relationship was doomed.
