at least unn dramas mai koi romance or moments toh milte hain. neither mein nor smd had any proper romance track. these days action dramas like duniyapur are serving more romance and sizzling moments but they're absent in so called love stories.

Maya Wahaj romance would be in the last 5-8 episodes of the show...and by that time people will just give up...whole drama is gonna be wasted on ammar-sadaf-dania-humsha...already 50% of the show is over..

Honestly speaking..I couldn't understand why Wahaj said YES to Mein..but I guess he agreed for the show when TB was still on air...SMD is the proper show which he signed post TB success...and I can totally understand why Wahaj agreed for the show..its because of Bilal Abdullah's character and the margin he got to perform..I mean from styling and aura to the character development everything attracted Wahaj to do a character like Bilal Abdullah...I dont blame him for that..he can do realistic character and a guy next door shows when he loses fame..but right now when is at the height of popularity,if he does a drama only to impress the critics and not for the masses,than I would say it will be a stupidity from Wahaj's side...

I feel like critics have scrutinized Wahaj more than other actors because expectations from Wahaj is very high..but Bilal Abdullah is character any male actor would love to play IMO because its appealing to masses as well as there is a scope for performance.

At least you have hope..but I have no hope because looking at the character arcs...there will be a sudden realization would hit all the characters and Sadaf will go back to Bilal..and 1 episode of romance..and than show is over..there is no character arc or progression..saare characters bas wohi ka wohi atka hua hai.

Honestly I was ok waiting patiently and I still am. They made it clear from the teasers that this is one-sided. What really set me off was those unnecessary romantic scenes between Ammar and Sadaf. Now no one signed on for that.

Neither krq knows how to write romantic scenes nor haseeb knows to direct them toh kahan se milega romance.

Hira promotes SMD so much though. I don’t think she promotes her other show at all. I’ve also seen Usama promote SMD too but I don’t blame him for promoting shows where he is the lead.

She's milking it as much as possible. Her other show is also a flop, nobody cares about it. She posts mostly with wahaj as it gets her millions of views on their reels and thousands of likes which she doesn't get on her solos.

Quite honestly all the big blockbusters nowadays are romances: TB, IM, KMKT. They all give the leads ample screen time together because that’s what the everyone wants to see. So unlike most people, I’m not against Wahaj doing a romance but I agree that he needs some scenes with the lead actress to create these moments.

One-sided love does not mean lack of lead interactions. Friends to lovers, office romance, marriage of convenience, pygmalion aur kitne saare tropes hote hain with one-sided love but they have plenty of leads interactions, getting to know each other, build up. one-sided love where there are no leads interactions sirf psycho stalker films main hota hai.
