On the paper tere bin was a below average sub standard story but the direction and moments created between meerasim were so good that the show did well(I was not a fan of tere bin though) but SMD is not a bad story on paper IMO..but the way scenes are being executed and the episodes are dragged with too much of unnecessary scenes and annoying characters,is not done...!! A good director is not someone who does justice to good script..a good director is someone who can make a bad script look good.. and Haseeb always got good scripts throughout his career..when it came to SMD he just messed it up...so he should stop behaving like he created some kind of masterpiece.

The reception would have been far less negative if they showed from the beginning that Sadaf is married to Ammar. They created a suspense of who Sadaf is marrying and that kept some fans hooked to the show. Now that’s over, everyone has left.

If they showed Sadaf married to Ammar from beginning than how would have they showed Bilal Abdullah liking Sadaf? We already knew from the teasers that Bilal would be in one sided love with her.

The whole premise and execution of the show has gone wrong..they totally messed it up..

And IDK why people were so shocked about ammar sadaf marriage..from the teasers and OST it was already clear that Sadaf was marrying Ammar.

I meant to show them married in the promos. There was always a confusion of who she is marrying and many thought Ammar would run away from the wedding.

big bang next drama is supposedly with bilal and hania and written by zafar miraj. even brkrj was a good script (which ahad was doing but he dropped out after few days of shooting). so big bang does have good scripts that go to likes of bilal and ahad, but let's stick wahaj in a script by the writer of masterpiece like jalan. wtf.

even feroze is doing diverse scripts. kaddu made him do a khumar hwoch was geo crap but he also did an akhara on green which was different, and humraaz is a different genre too, though it's geo. even saanwal yaar piya looks like a better project than smd and that was offered to feroze and aaa.

agar geo nahin toh wahaj koi green ke liye hi kar le.

how come no one is having issues but wahaj. koi express ki hi acchi miniseries karlo.

srsly, if guys at wahaj's level start complaining we don't have a choice, it's laughable. as a b-lister, wahaj did better scripts. a big part of show biz is making connections and networking. its part of the job. if you want good scripts, you gotta hustle. competition bohat sakht hai. you can't just sit and expect projects to land in your feet,

Right from his breakthrough since tb we see everybody from the industry criticizing him left right and centre. Industry people don’t seem to be liking his breakout and popularity, but many enjoy getting clout through him. Nadia who's supposedly so close to him, doesn't leave a chance to do his izzat ka fajita on her show.

Idk if he's not getting good scripts or if he's not picking up the right one's. He's thought process also is so different that script doesn't matter, the director does. Right now he's at the position that ahmed was post parizaad, not at all doing any shows.

It happens to the best of them. The views are decent for SMD…this week they declined but everyone in the comments is asking where Wahaj is. It’s obvious that he is a hook for the audience. I still believe he delivered as Bilal Abdullah so I’m happy with it. I wasn’t happy with Zaid that gave him no margin to perform but can’t deny that it was still a hit.

I feel that Wahaj needs to come out of his romantic hero image and try other genres.

hdccs and devdas, heroine married someone else but we were shown their love story and connection before. we invested in them as a couple. toh jab do log judaa huey toh hamein afsos hua. we felt the pain and angst. nobody is going to feel anything if there is no connection established between the leads before you make them judaa.

as it was written smd is not a romance or love story. its a drama about prejudice and perceptions and different types of love. both humsha and bilal are in one-sided love - ek toxic one-sided hai ek selfless. ammar and bilal is another study on contrasting love - ek hasil karne wala pyar jo possessive hai or doosra submissive subservient sirf giving wala pyaar. in ke beech mai focal point sadaf hai who goes on a life journey that teaches her to finally understand and recognize love. these 4 are all protagonists in the writing.

Even Faraz and Dania are in one sided love Humsha and Ammar are equal protagonists no doubt on that. They have completely ignored Hira and Usama in the promotions.

He should be doing diverse roles and genres, no more one sided love urban elite roles plz. sab se bada masla yeh hai that wahaj ko zabardasti lover boy chemistry sizzling romance main beach rahe hain when the story in his dramas doesn't support any of it.
