History {{Banner Contest}}

Hello folks!

Welcome to History Banner Contest.

Before you jump in, please do read the rules.

• Banner Size should be 1456W X 180H

• You can send up to 5 Banners. Make sure they all are different.

• You MUST read this before you get into your designs. *New* Forum Banner Dynamics

Banners shouldn't have the copyright or any kind of watermark on it.

• Title of the forum in the banner should be spelt correctly i.e "History" The title should in the middle of the banner.

• Mandatory to be included in the banner : maximum two Azaadi slogans in hindi, maximum two inscriptions from any period, maximum two historical monuments, Vikramaditya's throne, two locations related to Indian freedom struggle movement.

Rest you can add but they must be related to history and no english titles should be there in the banner except the forum title "History".

Upload your banner on [www.imgur.com] or any uploading site that supports images (please ensure that your account is not visible in the link or your account is not public - like with Photobucket links). 1. How do the words mandatory and maximum work in conjunction? Does this mean that we can include either one or two slogans / inscriptions / monuments... but it can't be zero or more than two...? Just making sure I'm understanding this right

2. This is about the extra things we can add... do they have to be about Indian History only? Or can it be about anything from all around the world?

3. What is the cut off point for something to be considered History? 20 years back? 50 years back?

Sorry for bombarding you guys with all these queries, but History can be tricky and I would rather not mess it up .

One is minimum, two is maximum. This means, one you must include, two is optional, but not more than two.

Anything historical, not necessarily Indian history only.

Till Indian Independence.
