Recent years the purpose of average budget spent ZRA by Hindi channel got reduced to give platform to promote and encourage its new and upcoming shows with its characters and jodi's, draw some media and SM attention, gain some ad / sponsor revenues,
rather than celebration of what channel and its shows achieved during last one year of their run.
Another intent is, weeks before and during telecast of main event on some Sunday, get more paid subscriber TV viewership towards their shows along with main ZRA event, but last few years in BOTH fronts channel failed, also in gaining TRPs to its shows or to main ZRA event.
Yep channel tries selling main event before its recorded in studios/grounds to advertisers using popular stars like Shabir, Sriti, Arjun, Dheeraj, Shraddha, Shweta etc. as participants and stage performers,
but still recent years main ZRA event was average to failure, so using expensive stars doesn't have to matter much,
when script, coverage and performances on stage are also underwhelming.
Over the years strongly feel its a humbug called ZRA this channel shells out year after year,
with silly categories & meme worthy selections for ridiculous distribution awards some way or other to major cast & crew present,
rather than recognition of talent, performance caliber, popularity, audience reception or hard work.

At 10.30pm on 21st Feb 24 next gen leap actually started telecasting in Rabbseehaidua, but with next gen leads WITHOUT even getting combination scenes, Zee team already gave shared award for naya jodi on same 21st Feb evening in main ZRA event held in Mumbai.
