New thread entering into 2nd year of telecast...

Strangely, while anniversary posts are flowing on x / twitter, some one started about 'legality' of Amruta's marriage and I have series of posts going to & froth on invalid wedding as per Hindu marriage, and illegal as per law..

Saw those.

As many other things the writers have kept it open to interpretation. If people want to consider them married they can, if its no they can. Perhaps the writers think they are pulling out a masterstroke by doing this, unfortunately they dont see how bad the sore thumb is. They can rest these speculations by getting them married - or at least thinking about doing so.. but they want to keep things hanging (Trishankhu swargam, if you've heard the term).

Agree with your post (previous thread). You brought out two important points:

• Today I'm forced to say that to show her good they destroyed Jayesh's character.
• If from mela wedding,she showed us her this nature,I would appreciate but now for me she's as cheap as Babita
  

Hadn't considered the first point. Can only agree. It made no sense that Ammu couldn't see through Jayesh's truth... can be argued Bhavani hid it from the kids really well. Made Ammu and Harsh too look dumb in the end.

Second point has been my main point of contention with the character. In the beginning of that stupid married life phase, she was probably one step away from asking Ammu "when are you going to give us the good news"... or "haven't you forgiven him yet". Her behaviour has been cringe in those eps. Savitri vrat na sirf rakhi, Ammu se rakhwayi bhi. [vomit]

Another thing I agree with (but only partially) is Amruta has to be alone for a while w/o her mom around too... I'll add without Virat too. He has to 'grow up' or 'reborn' before they meet again. [Pehle hi kar dena tha... but writers kya kar rahe hein pata nahi.]

Getting sbs segments for the past 2 days now. back to promoting that way? Virat starts Uber taxi service... well... didn't make sense she couldn't find any other job in the beginning, now this one too. Can be said to be reality slap but how so very miniscule it is given she is around to 'comfort' him all the time. May be good and loving too but doesn't help him 'grow up' - bachche ka bachcha hi rahega if this continues.

Writers never fail to add inappropriate dialogues in the middle of serious conversations...

But after reading Mythri123’s post, I also have a doubt..are they going for a tragic ending? Why did he use the word zameen in that dialogue? He could have simply asked, "Can I sleep next to you?" Sleeping on the floor…does it mean they’re going to die together? I hate tragedy. I want a happy ending..😭

Mere liye pehle se hi tragedy hai! Won't hurt me if they die, but I know how writers will do so

Zameen maybe like marte dum tak, till last breath, idk!!!! (Didn't see the eps)
