Diyar e Dil had very nice romance between Obi and Maya,

This is Haseeb's worst direction. I can't believe it's him. Even a soap director would have done a better job with the storytelling.

Wahaj looks fresh and dashing in bts and offscreen photos but pata nahi in the show it's just absolutely the opposite anyways because he's so haseen, he somehow manages to looks good in those ugly shots and filters too.

He looks so good in BTS and it pisses me off how Haseeb made him look so brown and dull on screen. I know multiple aunties who said that Wahaj and Maya looked bimar and not good, that it looks too dark and gloomy, and why they changed the channel. If you are making a larger than life melodrama, at least make your leads look well-lit ethereal and beautiful and not like they have walked out of an Anurag Kashyap movie.

Also what is this big budget they keep talking of. We just see same three locations - that office with 2 rooms, the Baig house we see in every second drama, and Sadaf's house. Yes, they shot in Faisalabad but that was for like 5 days. Yeh itna bada budget kharch kahan hua. Just look at how many exterior locations AIEJ has. The hotel in AIEJ you can see runs like a hotel - there are guests, lobbies, check-ins, restaurants, servers, hotel staff, meetings, etc. The one in SMD doesn't even seem like it's a hotel they all work at.
