That's what I was saying in this thread today...that no matter how much people bashed Ekta or Gul Khan..those shows were very entertaining to watch and you were invested in the story....!!

Wahaj looks good tbh...A more mature look was needed for this role....Bilal is someone who is mostly depressed, an alcoholic who is lonely and wallows in self pity...This is exactly how he is supposed to look.

In fact I am glad he doesn't look as fresh as a daisy coz it would have just ruined the entire feel of the character.

ML was FL's friend's brother...ML started tutoring FL due to her poor marks requested by her family..they fell in love(though I didn't realize when they fell in love because it was too fast) the ML stepped back from marrying FL because ML is from a lower socioeconomic background..than ML wanted FL to marry to another guy...and ML felt like the other guy could keep her more happy than him. The other guy turned out to be an alcoholic and gambler after marriage and than he threw the FL out after having 2 kids..by that time ML has already become rich..and than he got engaged to his secretary (the vamp) but ML has been keeping tabs on FL..than somehow FL tries to reach to ML but stopped by vamp...later on ML finds FL in such a deserted condition and feels guilty and looks after her..the vamp becomes jealous..tries to poison FL and her kids..but ML drinks the poison and finally they get together after series of events in the last episode

I thought I was the only one who thought he was serving looks as Bilal Abdullah. Last week, everything was brighter but I guess they brighten and darken depending on the mood. I agree about the mature thing. I feel they went through a lot to make him look more mature. The fuller beard and the ascot tie I think were added to give him a more mature look. He’s supposed to be older than the rest of them and even with that look, sometimes he doesn’t look older than the rest of them. I appreciate the effort though.

SH even made fun of it saying why Wahaj is doing these Buddha roles
