That is an interesting question. I always try to look at the full picture of what the characters actually did. For me, the reason I loved Abhinav was because he was shown as a kind and selfless man who helped a stranger and did everything for her and her child when he didn’t have to. It wasn’t because he claimed to be a good man, but because he proved it through his actions.

Of course, this can be subjective, some people like him while others don’t. I have always been drawn to characters like Abhinav or even Onir of Pavitra rishta.

As for what Manish said, it wasn’t something shown in the story. Arohi and Abhimanyu didn’t marry, so that narrative does not hold weight.

That's the point it wasn't shown it was only said either by him or AK and then later stages by every other character at some point of the time.

How was he selfless through action when he didn't bothered to find Aks family at all. She could have died? what his plan for the baby in case Ak have died.

He infact married AK with a deal that you give me a facade of a family as i have no one and i would like to be known as a family man and i give your baby the name of the father. Never bothered finding where is his father, what happened why is he not here nothing at all.

And i am sorry but as per actions a man assuming the worst of others coz that fits best for his interests isn't really selfless.

But you will definitely not agree so its a moot point.

Again my question was for the part according to the show so according to the show at present Manish story stands correct coz abhira doesn't know.

For Abhira her name is from her parents thats was not shown 'according to the show' but it is for her so what will you say that Ak suddenly decided naa let me be like Nav ka Abhi leke Abhira kardeti hun 😂

Where is our sense of perceiving things and how can everything can be taken as according to the show while most of the characters just lie and the statements changes every other episode.

At one point Nav said to Manyu that we thought you didn't want the child. If he thinks he didn't want the child why bother hiding, why bother running.

At one point he was like so angry coz hey how dare someone say he is not a acha admi.

From where I see the execution of the show, narration were different from the mere lines that he is a acha admi.

That comes down to how every person interprets characters differently. For me his goodness was about how he supported her during tough times, gave a sense of stability , took care of them without expecting anything. Abhinav's standing by them, and creating a safe space for them weren’t transactional. He did not propose the marraige. But yes, the execution of storyline could have been better. Anyways, nice to know different perspectives 😊

According to your arguement. I can compare Abhinav with Khera.

Even khera took care of Akshara and her brother for a year. The only difference was that Khera was clear what he wanted in return.

And i do not agree that Abhinav didn't expect anything from Akshara. He expected Akshara and Abhir to reciprocate to his love.

Abhinav didn't even knew about Akshara's passion for singing or that she could even ride a bike let alone know anything about her past..Rather then try to find out about her past he was worried about filling his empty photo frames without thinking about Ak n baby's life n comfort..His action about choosing baby avhir over akshara life showed what a kind n decent man he was..

There's nothing much to understand about Abhinav.

Because Abhir knew only Abhinav as father figure, so him liking Abhinav more was expected.

And we all have seen that Akshara didnt move on from Abhimanyu for 6 yrs and only after Suwarna asked her to have sex with Abhinav and Arohi gor engaged to Abhimanyu, did she decide to love Abhinav.

So there isn't anything deep about Abhinav to analyse and understand.

Also, with no relation he took the decision in the hospital to save Abhir and let Akshara die, which was ridiculous and creepy.

You are right that Abhinav didn't know her hobbies or interests.

Even I used to think initially how a person can be six years in the same room with their spouse and not know any details about past but eventually as the story continued, I understood his nature and how he gave her the space to open up when she was ready, showing his empathy and sensitivity to her trauma.

I feel it is not about knowing every detail of someone's past, but about being supportive and present in the moment. From my perspective, Abhinav respected her personal agency and never overstepped that boundary. Whether or not he knew his wife could sing or ride a bike doesn't matter in the bigger picture. There must be something about him and the way he treated her that Akshara could never forget him.
