I agree with bollywood, up there. She discussed it generically ...how their lives are different to ours.

I can tell you a rough percentage breakdown of reasons why I see ppl at work, a pharmacist would be able to tell you their top 3 most dispensed script ..one being antidepressants. a divorce lawyer can tell you the 2nd most reason of divorce in india is because of family interference. A celb divorce lawyer can say its because of bordom, and not infidelity like we may assume...because infidelity in a celb relationship is accepted.

Boredom is the umbrella word, underneath it you will find difficulties connecting, no effort to spend time with the person, each are absorbed in their own worlds and that person doesn't get the 24/7 adoration and attention from the said superstar, plus they are used to such an over stimulated life.. if they arent getting the drama and attention .. then their needs aren't being met = boredom.

Isn't it obvious why marriages break so much in bollywood..it's not bollywood per se...it's the culture....

I remember I saw a reel of a black American (I think he was a conservative) and he said that the dating culture today or having many relationships before marriage makes u practice divorce ..the moment something goes wrong u break up..so if such a person gets married than the first instinct of them would be to leave the moment there is an issue..maybe I am old fashioned but it makes sense...most of the successful marriages I see are of people who were with that one person through out .... similarly a man who has the habit of frequent one night stands are likely to cheat more...it just becomes basic nature to them...And the opposite is also true,like some men at generally shy around opposite gender due to upbringing or low interaction and these people generally don't cheat not that they don't dream of it but it's just how they are now wired..

And bollywood industry is the epitome of hook up and casual dating...so ofcourse it makes sense
