Evolution of CID Characters

ACP PRADHYUMAN

1998 to 2002:

A Strict, honest and efficient but not so rude CID Officer.

2003 to 2005:

During this time, his character was so rude and especially towards his subordinates and also very much angry while investigation. Famous episodes like Code name banjara, Mad bomber, Face off, Trail in London etc. comes in this era, where we can see his rudeness.

2006 to 2007:

He was very strict, but his rudeness declined but only in a small portion. In this era, he scolded Freddy for his drinking habits which causes the latter a displeasure to ACP and also transferred Devyana, shot and killed a serial killer, 2 famous Dons. But he started behaving in a more friendly manner towards his subordinates.

2008 to 2011:

He was Strict but not so rude(but still little bit of rudeness was there).

Senior Inspector Abhijeet

1999 to 2006:

Honest, Courageous, Efficient, but not Friendly towards subordinates, he had a bossy attitude except towards Daya and Asha. He was little bit jealous (for more details, watch the episode in which ACP introduces CID Special Bureau Members). His relationship with ACP was also not so smooth, as he had indifference with some opinions of ACP, but he had a high respect for ACP and also was very loyal to him.

2007 to 2008:

He was friendly towards subordinates, but had a heart break, but found love again.

2009 to 2011:

He got more responsibilities in the absence of ACP in some episodes.

Quitted CID for sometime due to a past event in his life (Episode - Abhijeet ka Atheet ka Raaz), but came back with full honour.

ACP was really nice to his officers until 2005 , it was after 2006 when he started being rude towards Salunkhe and others

Add some more points about Abhijeet's transformation. Until 2006, he was a serious cop. (Only used to joke with Daya and Asha sometimes). Then 2007 onwards he became flirtatious, started behaving like a teenager in some scenes. (Especially with Dr Tarika and Dr Salunkhe)

So for me, there are 2 Abhijeets. One is the "Coat wearing Abhijeet" (2007 onwards) and another is the "Shirt wearing Abhijeet" (Pre 2007)

But anyways Abhijeet is an amazing cop always ❤️

He was a lot more strict, and in a manner, rude from 2010, an example would be when he heavily scolded Tasha for using fake notes in Kissa Nakli Notes Ka. Here, he sounded a bit rude. Another time where he was a lot more rude was when he caught Sub Inspector Vineet holding drugs and suspected him of hiding drugs in Giraftaar CID Officer Vineet in 2012. I think he was less rude with Purvi, since he seemed to be caring to her in CID Mein Gaddar, though he did scold her for shooting a man to save his wife in Ep 760.

Senior Inspector Daya:

A Character who does not evolve so much in the Show.

1. Courageous.: Faced death multiple times.

2. Emotional: He becomes friendly easily but same way gets angry easily. Best Friends are Abhijeet, Freddy ,Sachin

3. Smart : He got multiple girl friends in the past but broke the relationships for unknown reasons, except in the case of Shreya

4.Compassionate : Very much compassionate towards Subordinates.
