I want to start off by acknowledging that Sadaf is totally dumb for saying yes to Ammar but I can understand some things from her side. Bilal Abdullah is an incredibly kind man that does not take advantage of anyone’s weakness. That however doesn’t automatically qualify him to be the ideal partner. As far as Sadaf knows he still drinks, has marasim (or whatever that word is 😂) with women. He could be nice yet still indulge in this lifestyle. The mom is completely enamoured by him and she should be very grateful as he did so much for them. I think her saying that he might ask for her hand in marriage and she won’t be able to deny him anything, scared Sadaf. Sure she made this terrible offer to him already but this would be something lifelong. Also I think the mom knows he’s interested…maybe she picked up on it or Zaviyaar said something because he definitely knows. She’s over the moon about the thought of this….getting all excited about the expensive gifts too when Sadaf was apprehensive. Personally I would just be uncomfortable since he’s already done so much. Maybe Sadaf thinks she isn’t thinking clearly.

Bilal is an open book, he’s made no attempt to hide his vices and Humsha has taken advantage of that. Ammar on the other hand, plays the nice guy hiding his own ugliness inside. I personally feel she was gravitating towards Bilal whereas we saw that she never felt anything for Ammar in spite of all him declaring his love for her. I feel her own feelings scared her a bit and maybe she felt more control of the situation if she was committed.

Do I still think she’s annoying? Yes! Especially when she’s questioning his intentions. It’s really sad to be almost punished for helping someone and doing it with the purest of intentions. She’s known Humsha for a while and I don’t think she thinks that she has a reason to lie. As far as she knew, Humsha was with Faraaz. But it is still very frustrating seeing her being manipulated in this matter.

I totally agree...Sadaf taking such kind of decision is understandable because he doesn't want to harbour any feelings for Bilal as his reputation is still bad..he is a very compassionate and kind person in her opinion but chosing him as life partner would be a different thing all together..

But I guess its audience's love for bilal due to which sadaf is getting gaalis

For Sadaf's mom I feel it's all a mother's intuition that's at play..she didn't like Ammar as much as she likes Bilal.

Coming to Sadaf, she never committed to Bilal so she is not bound to say yes to him just because he helped her.

She definitely is someone who gets easily influenced which is a very common human flaw...Humsha is her friend and so is Ammar. While Humsha kept gaslighting her, Ammar also emotionally manipulated her with that suicide attempt.

Plus Sadaf giving that offer to Bilal is also a major factor that is clouding Sadaf's judgement apart from the fact that Bilal indeed is an alcoholic and had relations with escorts, something which Sadaf got to know from Humsha and even the mother hinted how her dad used to think this way about Bilal.

And since the mom told her that if Bilal asks for her hand in marriage then she won't refuse as they are indebted...this scared Sadaf and she instantly agreed to Ammar..again, hasty decision making is one her flaws.

So, yeah, as much as Sadaf is going to annoy me by breaking Bilal's heart, i can see where she is coming from and I can't entirely blame her tbh!

Sadaf with this stupid decision of marrying ammar will make her suffer in future. Bilal will surely get heart break and will be back to his old drinking habits but it’s Sadaf who will be actually suffering . She will need to face it and suffer it as it’s her decision even if it’s by manipulation.

Sadaf has also betrayed Dania and will have to pay for that.

Exactly this...Audience are so much habituated of haters to lovers/marriage of convenience tropes that they can't digest that sadaf is marrying someone else..I thank God that mann mayal,bin roye etc didn't air in this era..otherwise the characters would have got lot of gaalis

I'll disagree here.. She doesn't have to choose billu... And for that matters, is billu even a choice since he hasn't actually proposed her..

Sadaf is getting gallis because she is thinking bad about the only person who helped her... Usse kuch karne toh deh behna... Sadaf is coming across as awful bec as soon as the crisis passed she has forgotten the very person who helped her during the crisis.. At the very minimum don't hold b*tching sessions about the man who saved your brother's life..

And marrying Ammar is always a bad decision even if billu is not there.. How many times did sadaf say no to him? He doesn't hear the no... He doubted sadafs character , sat and talked crap about her with the other friend and marrying anyone just because they threaten to commit suicide is red flag 101

So sadaf is coming across as an idiot at best and ungrateful at worst... You can't show the female lead as some easy manipulatable naive fool and then expect the audience to not get frustrated... It might have worked in the 90s and early 2000s but now the audience appreciates a smart female lead
