SRK certainly could have named some more "philosophical" ones...actually, I find in all of the mentioned books quite interesting thoughts about life and humankind well intertwined with gripping stories...One doesn't need the so-called 'intellectual' books - as a more general readership - to learn a looooot about "the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence"

Apart from Roald Dahl's books, the Artemis Fowl ones, the first Douglas Adams and all Harry Potter, I especially like the one about the 5 persons you meet in heaven. But honestly, SRK's library has an abundance of very interesting books...and - by far - more thought provoking ones

Yes. I guess a couple of them from the updated list more than make up for the HPs and the Ayn Rand ones.
