Quite honestly, the very vocal fans/haters on social media don’t represent everyone. Most fans are casual fans that if they like an actor/actress enough, they will watch their shows. Clearly this isn’t clicking with the Pak audience but there’s no reason to believe the YouTube views are fake. I think Wahaj has a lot of fans and/or haters that not only scrutinize his professional career but his personal life too. And that’s the very vocal bunch we see on social media…that is not everyone. I’m included in this bunch because the amount that I analyze a show or keep up with Wahaj for instance isn’t representative of more of a casual fan. I feel like these type are more of Danish’s fans. They come in huge numbers to watch his shows where he plays a character they are comfortable with and then they are done. They aren’t on social media overly criticizing or defending him. I think it’s one of the reasons that some reviewers like SH didn’t review his show in spite of it having a lot of views. They don’t get the engagement that they do with a Wahaj show. Even if they don’t like it, it provokes a reaction from his fans and haters so it’s worth it for them. However even if they get a 100K views, that’s a fraction of the views that the show gets. People like the show enough to watch it but it isn’t blockbuster level where they are praising it everywhere but there are still fans on social media liking it. On social media, you will find extreme reactions, those who love it and those who hate it. I feel like the reaction is somewhere in the middle for the casual viewer. They aren’t as invested as we are. They watch it and move on.

I hope Wahaj doesn’t have a love interest in his next show and his character is poor/ middle class. That’s the best way not to be typecast.

i track smd views daily. there is no fake views. the patterns are entirely in line with what happens with regular shows. If there were fake views you'll see weird spikes and jumps, which is not the case here. If SMD views are fake then all other views are fake not just on GEO but also on ARY and HUM. I am speaking based on evidence and data. Where is the evidence to prove it's fake?

Also the show trends in India not Pak YT. So Geo is now buying fake views from India but not Pakistan. Mkay. Low-gics indeed.

The evidence is the vitriol against SMD on social media . Go on every post for SMD on Facebook/ Insta etc and everyone is trashing it. So who is watching it and giving it the views ?
