Why do the shows bound for OTT seem to always have less episodes?

Well, I guess they fear they won't be renewed for a fresh season so try to keep the story as concise as possible.

Each episode is almost of one hour so even if there are six to eight episodes it is nearly 7 to 8 hrs of the show. Movies are less duration more so now they are not even full 3 or 2.5 hrs many times. So in comparison web series all together is more. Plus possibility of next season to add on.

My comment was generally about web series been short not necessarily about this particular series.

5 hours is much more time than any movie. It is true though we feel only five or eight episodes at times when series is good or oh god few more to go when we want it to end.

As I don't belong to those who like to watch serials/series I rarely watch even those with only 5-8 episodes.

So I may skip this one, too, if I don't really get engaged by the first 2 episodes. From the PC Citadel, I only watched the first 2 and skipped the rest. Same with Heramandi. It's simply a question of me-time... what I have, I prefer to spend either in the forum or with a book or watching movies.

Might give it a binge try this weekend then!

I'm thinking it has to come back for seaon 2 due to the abrupt clif-hanger...But depends on the response I suppose..But seems like it did pretty well

In the Priyanka series was her backstory told? As in what happened to her mom & dad? It depends on that.
