In ghum 1, when people called out such thing by stating how pakhi is behind virat without his consent, lead actor Neil gave explanation by equalising pakhi and sai's concern for virat.

That's how itv writers deal with two girls one boy trope. And mls most of the times giving leeway to other woman doesn't help it too.
