It's hard to explain but Jhanak is in a different zone that those shows .....they show weird ghatiya stuff in Jhanak but it's overall in a weirdly irreverent zone that somehow works in the universe of this show.

These other Leena shows are more in your face CASUAL with the physical violence they show...they are normalizing it as part of the narrative....and it's more disconcerting in my opinion cuz they are showing this in family relationships....like this Adrija casually doing physical violence on someone she grew up with as a sister. In Jhanak's case, they treated her horribly cuz they considered her a maid since day one....that somehow worked in the narrative that it's a class difference superiority complex going on....but showing such casual physical violence in family setup is more depraved I feel and Leena is normalizing it through these shows.

That said, neither of these shows are exactly great TRP successes right now.....Jhanak debuted better at a late slot than either of them did in a more prime time slot.

After seeing clips of these shows, I have to say somehow the Jhanak cast really works together to sell the universe of this show....I don't see that being done as successfully in these other shows Leena has launched.

They have increased the run-time of this show to compete with Bigg Boss airing on Colors at the same time. For whatever reason, Jhanak is doing remarkably well in a non prime-time late night slot and SP is really trying to squeeze as much ad revenue out of that as possible by airing it almost for one hour on TV daily.

That's led the script quality deteriorating beyond the already stagnating and repetitive story it's been since a while

As for why they got the 10:30 slot...lol I think it was just done randomly at the time by SP but it has paid off surprisingly well for them cuz Jhanak seems to have managed to get a loyal fanbase in that slot

Yes increased run time like episodes will lead to deteriorating quality- no doubt about that.
They are lucky to have a good cast, great leads and a patient fan base - to compete with BB is no mean achievement 😂😂😂 I suppose

I don’t watch anything else so I don’t know… but for me in a serial I watch is that it should not feature kitchen politics 😂😂😂😂 Here that politics is almost absent excelt for stray scenes. I get the irreverent style of this serial… it’s oddly comforting 😂😂😂 but now it’s getting too boring going in circles!! Bahut ghooma liya…

We are fed up seeing Arshi Bips leaving BH and constant faltu ka same kalesh. Itna b kya episode count bdhane ka lalach Let Ani do something, try to resolve Jhanak death mystery, let him also do something man. He is your lead.

Best way to cope up is to reduce expectations slowly..and get detached from the show...coz clearly makers do not wish to regain their past glory in the name of 3000 episodes.
