Yes, the actor is very limited with his expressions and woh fatherly feel aata bhi nahin isse.

Hopefully they kill off this Papa soon also after he gets his badla and whatever matchmaking he is trying to do for Runak .....acting-wise he's really dragging down the show right now.

If his function is to make Jhanak realize Ani is her only well-wisher who will always stand with her in all crisis, toh phir theek hai....warna yeh baap-beti ke revenge plans will get tiresome given how dono hi dumb sound karte hain

Like if one doesn’t love, don’t marry is too simplistic a classification. Is every marriage purely out of love? Aren’t there relationships based on companionship? Here, Ani was in a relationship with Arshi after all… so I didn’t it ofd he considered to marry her after the aag… I only considered it strange that the narrative showed him distant from J then..

@bold: I agree with this...it wasn't out of character for Ani to want to support Arshi after the aag given their long term relationship and him wanting to support her in a crisis.....but yes it was weird how they tried to flip the narrative into showing him forcibly distant from Jhanak and not being shown thinking about her unless people in the family or Arshi would taunt him with Jhanak's name. That was some poor writing. They could have shown that he was aware of his feelings for Jhanak but had accepted that she left him, that is why he decided to stay and support Arshi since she needed him then. Instead they tried to forcibly show Ani thinking he doesn't even love Jhanak and he loves Arshi instead

It gets all the funnier when you see the current storyline which is all about glorifying the greys in love and relationships, trying to justify people making up their own rules about which marriages are valid and which aren't....lol so why have Ani and Jhanak been held to such stringent standards by all the characters in the story?

Ani has been sort of shown accepting that he tried to make it work with Arshi from a perspective of companionship but even that didn't work out cuz his heart always craved Jhanak and he couldn't look at anyone else.

Jhanak is currently in the zone where she knows Ani doesn't love Arshi but expects him to make it work with Arshi from a companionship perspective over the technicality of shaadi label....so not sure what kind of implosion she needs to witness to realize Anishi can't work from that angle anymore either....neither love, nor companionship....there is total incompatibility there.

Haan but upbringing uske urvashi ne ke ha so she'll remain her mom forever. Srishti se wase bhi hate wala relationship ha. And even srishti bhi use accept nahi karege.

So yeh matter he nahi kerta k srishti uske real mom ha. 😏😏

I haven't watched the epi yet either....lol but WU se pata chala that Urvashi didn't give birth to Jhanak but raised her selflessly throughout.....and yeah, Jhanak is still calling only Urvashi her mom and seems to treat Srishti like the enemy to take revenge from

Jhanak will always consider only Urvashi her mom and Srishti will only consider Arshi her daughter....neither of them are interested in any maa-beti rishta with each other and hopefully J ki mahaanta na jaage for Srishti even after learning what she did to Urvashi. Arshi se toh same hi equation rahega Jhanak...pehle bhi Didi thi, ab bhi.

Is show mein jab bhi Jhanak ko kuch info milti hai, woh ghuma ghuma ke taunts maarti hai Srishti/Arshi ko but puri baat directly nahin bataati.....lol so abhi bhi looks like Nutan banke Srishti/Arshi ko attitude degi cuz she knows this truth now but Arshi ko shayad nahin batayegi for some mahanta reason ki Didi ko jhatka lagega blah blah and Srishti will take advantage of this to spin her own version to Arshi as usual.

Leena ghuma phira ke story wahin ki wahin rakhegi....lol Srishti being birth mom will not change the equations that already exist

Bold - yes I particularly noted this when BBG was talking.. Morality is ofc what one makes of it but the narrative getting suddenly very avant grade….was really silly. Also BBG mouthing those relationship practicalities also too expedient…Frankly the father daughter revelation scene was very poorly executed… BBG giving advice on relationship was funny to say the least.

Unlined - Simply because there is not much of a story once the two accept love… they are extending the premise and will bring about stupid roadblocks to thwart Runak and since J is born villain in the story she will be made to spout nonsense 😂😂😂

@bold: This is what worries me and irritates me the most!

Why both Jhanak and Ani didn't think of eachother atleast once during Mumbai track...

But even then, based on how they've potrayed Ani now, I can assume he's given his all to revert back to before Jhanak era and don't think of her or hurt thinking about her at all... He has his responsibilities clear and didn't want to wallow in love which has nothing left...

(Now, he's not giving himself that excuse and openly accepting everything infront of everyone!

That's what I loved about him in today's epi too!)

And I may also assume that on top of all this, he's also guilty he didn't support Jhanak during Aag incident and maybe thinks he doesn't deserve to love her...

But then when he saw her with Aditya khud ko jealous hone se rok nehi paya...

He's very instinctual and self-contradicting sometimes. And very human...

And as for Jhanak, I can only tell that something broke in her when Ani married Arshi, which didn't heal till now, even when he confessed everything to her...

Jhanak always chooses to run away from him and doesn't think about him at all whenever she gets a chance. Par jab wo saamne aata he to khudko rok nehi pati he...

I don't understand why she wants to run away at all in the first place, especially now...

The fact that Jhanak is shaming Ani so much in Nutan mode also ki you are a married man, you shouldn't come to meet me like this.....makes me wonder how the narrative and stakes will flip for Ani once he learns Jhanak is still very much alive. Right now that is the pressure point everyone is putting on him that Jhanak is gone so forget her and move on with Arshi. But he can dig in with more stubbornness on seeing Jhanak alive and seems unlikely to back off even if Jhanak gives him the same spiel about go to Arshi didi again

They need to change this stupid roadblock in some form atleast cuz it's beyond stale right now

LOL this reasoning would work if Ani had actually married Arshi for real....but he didn't. And Jhanak knows this very well....so then what breaking? There is no MU here either...she knows all the details that rituals were not completed, Arshi is just proclaiming herself wife. Even before the shaadi happened, many times Jhanak called Arshi his wife by claiming almost wife means same thing as wife only

So Jhanak's real problem is that Ani has a past with Arshi....that's what she can't get over no matter how much Ani has clarifed the journey of his feelings to her. Ironically she married Ani with full rituals herself and she knows this but still refuses to give validity to her own shaadi while crying over a fake non-existent shaadi of Anishi.....then this is just self-inflicted torture for no reason. I just can't connect or sympathize with this logic

What I really can't understand is how Jhanak can still keep running away from an Ani who has stood up for his love openly since the HA track....he has shown how much he pines for her and she immediately does out of sight, out of mind on him first chance she gets....that is where Leena's writing is the poorest.

Jab woh saamne aata hai, woh khud ko rok nahin paati from serving him chai parathe, that's it? .....this is how Leena thinks audience will be convinced ki Jhanak still loves him even if she otherwise doesn't even factor him a bit into her life?

Also anyone else here SO annoyed by the dialogue of everyone constantly telling Ani not to "complicate his life"?

So wanting to be with the one he loves makes his life complicated simply cuz his family won't accept it? And he should just walk around in depression all his life cuz that is the "non-complicated" option as per these so called know it alls?

There is a very non complicated solution to all this which he has already offered to Arshi by telling her to get lost since no shaadi ever happened....lol if others are forcing their way into his life, how is that HIS complication to manage?
