Love it- great analysis. I stopped watching the show as I cannot stand that they have changed Abhira to 8th century abla nari- a punching bag, a door mat.
No wonder dadi gave her Mother-in law’s saree- as Abhira now looks that generation also!! Ruhi and Vidya continue their cruelty.

@bold those women who don't keep fast can't participate in the rituals? Sometimes women faint during the fast & someone help them drink water because of their condition. If a woman doesn't announce that she couldn't keep/continue fast infront of in-laws to avoid drama & speculations but participate in rituals, with intent to disclose the reason for not keeping fast later on, would that be mockery of pious ritual? Plus Abhira got what she deserved for lying to Armaan. She rightfully got exposed and insulted for lying & pretending.

@red modern ka toh "m" bhi nahi Abhira otherwise she would've packed her bags and left during 3 months atleast for a few days/week, when Armaan was rude & distant. They had sex but he still didn't communicate with her, let alone sharing happy memories & meals with his newly wedded wife he didn't share his problems & pain with her for 3 months. He didn't take her for granted merely for 3 days but for 3 freakin' months. If Abhira was even 10% modern she would have an outburst when he shouted at her infront of clients without her fault. So no Abhira is quite regressive FL who was defended as an understanding partner before this pregnancy track. Plus she always complicates situations merely because of her assumptions.

When I said they can't participate in rituals, they can but not pretending to be fasting and lying..she was doing that posing as she is also fasting unlike others..and sorry for me that is intolerable...these are my age old tradition, and I respect it and can't tolerate any person making fun of it in name of her stupid reasons and than went on justifying it..I can't compromise making someone fun of my culture...and I think I have all right to put my viewpoint regarding that..there was no logical explaination of why she went their all saj dhaj ke acting as if she was also fasting and pretending to break her fast...oh my god it was so distasteful yuckkkk...and worst was when she was eating pizza and saying to armaan on phone ki no I am not hungry..chiiii....are don't tell him about pregnancy but pls don't make fool out of our respected tradition by plainly lying to your husband, just tell him that you couldn't be hungry thats why you ate or currently eating....if you are so sacha and acha..who the hell is saying tell in laws,tell your husband on phone when you are eating bhar bhar ke samaan...I mean with your explaination every wrong would be justified ki acha baad mein batana hi tha agle ne...

@bold Abhira was 110% wrong in lying to Armaan.There was nothing wrong in uttering those simple words "I can't fast because of my health issues" but Abhira chose to lie. There can be no justification for what she did with Armaan or what she did in general. Quietly performing rituals infront of Poddars after confiding in Armaan regarding not keeping fast, would've been better. I didn't intend to justify Abhira's actions specifically what she did with Armaan, but it was regarding her hiding truth from Poddars. She could've told Armaan anytime in the morning or before performing rituals instead of deceiving him, but informing Poddars to be humiliated or cursed again wasn't needed.

@red Abhira not only got exposed but lost Armaan's trust too, she lost her credibility. She lost her respect.

respect the customs if you follow the puja vidhi vidhan as per the told norms by elders. If not happening due to periods or health issues or pregnancy or just delivered mother feeding the kid there are options. None forces anyone to do any ritual against their will. I am toh saying babe ki chalo koi nhi lets participate in customs rituals also but atleast don't pretend ki you are alo keeping fast and doing it as per fast breaking custom..
