I enjoyed the second episode much more than the first tbh. Yesterday the friends group annoyed me and I felt the acting was horrible but today I warmed up to them a little? And I think it’s mostly thanks to Saba Hameed taking charge of that Ammar dilemma. She has great screen presence. One good thing KRQ does is that he gives wholesome family dynamic in some form. In Gentleman it was Zarnab and her dad and here it’s Sadaf and her mom. So I didn’t mind the division of screen time. It made sense to me and Wahaj had plenty of scenes where he shined. For me he owns the screen whenever he comes and leaves a lasting impact. I loved the sober scene he had with Ammar. The car scene with Namdaar Mirza. I felt his hurt and embarrassment. Then the long talk with his other girlfriend (that actress played his sister in Fitoor, by the way smiley36). And then how he nailed the emotions in the graveyard. I did wish the graveyard scene was longer. But that’s about it.

For me the real appeal in the show is obviously Wahaj and as much as I’m enjoying his performance, I’m not going to get greedy about it because it IS an ensemble cast and the story has to make sense too. And Sadaf has a whole muhalla of family and friends around her. And we know her marriage to Ammar is the first phase of the story so that will be set up.

Excited for Humsha to join the story next week. Bilal really needs someone now. Someone to talk to who doesn’t judge him. Bilal Abdullah, despite his many vices, just makes you feel so bad for him. Wahaj is really nailing this role. His styling is on point also. So far he’s the constant thing that’s working for me.

I think Humsha will see the appointment letter and get jealous. Hira is such a fine actress. Even in that small glimpse her eyes tell something. Her scenes with Wahaj are going to be a treat.

Really looking forward to it. I would appreciate a woman who knows her own mind in this story.

Second episode was fine.

Someone please remove daniya's character from this drama. Can't see her expressionless love dilemma.

Amaar's character is confusing, does he actually love sadaf or faking it. Also I am confuse, either sadaf actually don't love amaar or she is lying. Tho, i liked sadaf scenes with her mother.

Coming back to bilal, I am so looming forward to this character, how he will transform, wanna know about his bg story.

We are not sure but her expressions looked like that she was angry or disappointed with him.

I have a feeling that at some point in the story Ammar would steal credit of some good deed done by Bilal and that’s why Sadaf would agree to marry him. It’s won’t be out of love and the truth would be revealed towards the end.

The Sadaf and Ammar drama is so needless and convoluted without needing to be. The mother saved that plot for me. Love how she handled it. But yes you are right on one hand Ammar is talking about taking his life, full serious and this zeher line was repeated so many times by multiples characters - but then he’s dancing in the hotel lobby totally fine and doing shady references. Then Sadaf is doing extreme things like Maa ke sarr ki kasam khaana but then also looks double minded? One has to be invested in characters first to care about this kind of back and forth and confusion, but we just dived right in smiley5
