It seems Shobha respects her SIL more than Sayali

Shobha always defends Sachin regardless of whether he is right or wrong.

I agree that Sayali made a mistake of signing as a witness of Akya's wedding. However, she didn't know that Akash would take such a step. She trusted Akash when he said that he will convince his family and marry her.

Even when Sayali managed to tell this to Sachin, he is not ready to accept.

Shobha knows that Juhi is mainly responsible for that incident, but she blames Sayali.

I really hate Sailee’s mother. A typical woman who wants her daughter to be a doormat of her husband and in laws. She knows that her daughter is mistreated by them but forces her to stay with them. She is the type of woman that believes ki Pati Parmeshwar Hota Hai. Any other woman in her place would’ve taken a stand for Sailee and bashed that jangly gavar Crapchin and his filthy family for abusing their daughter and treating her like used toilet paper. Sailee deserves better than these horrible people who only use her for free service. I want a new man to enter who will love her for who she is and treat her well.

Yes, we as viewers wish that Sayali needs a better person. However, the makers already shipped SaChi.

The makers always portray a FL as her husband's doormat. Sachin's love for Sayali is always on and off. He doesn't think from Sayali's viewpoint. He only judges her based on the half evidence.

Sayali on the other hand stops Juhi from telling the real story. Shobha also shuts her up when she voices out her opinion.

Sorry to sound harsh but parents like Shobha are the reason why so many dowry de*ths happen. No matter what the husband or his family do, the parents of the bride expect her and pressurise her to keep on bearing and serving. Saylee is sincere and works hard, she only needs a place to call home but her mother is more concerned about the 'societal' image than Saylee. Even after Saylee did that difficult ground rolling , she is still siding with Sachin. I don't care for the pairings as each ML will be butchered for TRP sooner or later but Shobha is just .

Why she is so normal with Juhi is something I was wondering too.

No problem. It's understandable. Shobha is the next irritating character after Renuka.

Shobha did beat Juhi for helping Akash and Riya to get married. But her blame shifted to Sayali as she signed in the witness column.

Shobha is more worried about her image in the society than about Sayali's well being.

Sayali discontinued her studies only to support her dad and the family, but she didn't get anything but the sasural where Sachin's love and trust for her keeps swinging like a pendulum, Renuka, Roshni, and Tejas's taunts and a spineless devar like Akash.

He should have mustered his courage and told Riya to wait till he convinces his parents about their wedding. He should have told Renuka about Riya. But he was scared of Sachin and Paresh.

Deshmukh family is not suitable for Sayali, but Shobha pushed her into marrying Sachin despite knowing Renuka's behaviour and Tejas's elopement.

She knew that Sachin is a drunkard, yet she gave her daughter to him. But when he brought the proposal for Juhi's marriage with Akash, Shobha didn't agree. I wonder whether Sayali is Shobha's real daughter.
