At this point, there's a longer list of directors who didn't want Alia and were forced to use her thanks to KJo than directors who actually wanted her.

No wonder you can tell that even Bollywood elite is done with KJo and has no patience for him or his adopted daughter. Both are persona non grata now.

Everyone knows that Jigra will get great reviews..and BOI will declare it a hit. Perhaps this film will be good and may deserve to be a hit.But who will accept it? There is so much cynicism in the way Dharma conducts its business, it is a no win situation for them.

Jigra will have to do enormous business for people to not just call it another Dharma manipulation. KJo brought it all on himself 🤷🏽‍♀️. People were already cynical about Alia and now this video with Vasan has made all the “issues” about her refreshed in everyone’s minds. I’ve said this before, no matter what she achieves professionally, her legacy will always be that KJo handed her everything.

KJo is such a loser. It's one thing to give movies to whoever you want to. But why is he always barking on socials and in the media and trying to publicly defend his Aloo beti? She's a grown 30+ woman and if she gets criticism, it's her own problem. She's a public person and that's part of parcel of the job.

He even puts down his own old movies (the ones he's known and loved for) to hype the later trash like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which nobody even rates. Aloo and her husband caused the biggest loss to Dharma ever with Brahmastra and he's still going wild with Jigra. All this to his own detriment. It doesn't even make sense.

I read a comment on reddit. It said Karan's desire shifted from a successful producer to be a kingmaker for nepo kids. Alia is the number 1 actress today . KJO delivered for Alia, unfortunately commercially Alia did not at the level Karan would have hoped for. She caused him bigger losses than profits ( kalank, brahmastra) . And the lesser said the better about Jahnvi, Ananya, Sara etc.

KJo is smart and sees the writing on the wall. There is hardly any money in the industry. Nobody is greenlighting movies except Jio. Actors demand more money than they’re able to earn. OTT players have also reduced how much they pay. KJo will cash out with a huge sum and still be able to make movies under Dharma and the name will survive too.
