She ran away to primarily hide her pregnancy and it would have been impossible to do that in Singhania house since both the families were pretty close, especially with Keerti-Naksh being married. She was scared that Kartik would question the legitimacy of their child after he questioned her about Mihir and did not want her child to grow up with that kinda baggage.
