Jeetendra had a lot of films like this that have not aged well. Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya was a remake of a Jeetendra/Rekha movie, Ek Hi Bhool, which is why it had such a regressive script for a 2000s movie since it was a ditto copy of an 80s movie.

It was. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous myself which is why I never liked the movie. Karishma was better off with Akshay.

In the Jeetendra/Rekha version, it's very similar where Rekha has a widowed friend and Jeetendra goes to her house to help her out. I think he accidentally gets wet from the shower and needs a towel so she goes to the bathroom to help him and they end up in each other's arms. Very stupid. 80s films were so regressive.

Jeetendra did some really terrible movies in 80s. The movie titles were so funny.
