Tanuja and Shubho are modern parents...without shaadi they arranged first night....so this is nothing right.

Not everyone follows it to the T, there are people who question the logic behind such a ritual and choose to ignore it and be part of the celebrations ! Then there are others, who adhere to it !

TBH, It does not come across as a logical ritual really, given that a mother is barred from being part of her son's wedding festivities, for fear of "nazar lag jayega"!
