 Actor Abhishek Bachchan had put on tons of weight for Mani Ratnam's Guru, post which he was to start shooting for Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar Raj . Ramu, however, was happy for Bachchan's weight gain. "I required him to look a little healthier. He's playing a married, settled man in my film, whose lifestyle has undergone a bit of change," says Ramu.Abhishek said, "I had put on weight for Guru, and Ramu instructed me to lose just a little of that weight for Sarkar Raj , which I did. Now that the film is over, I can happily come back to my normal self. And I'm glad about that. It's been ages since I was lean again!" About Sarkar Raj , Abhi continues, "We've worked hard, let's hope the audiences like what we have put together for them. We work to entertain, and if we manage to do that, we're the happiest. Audience appreciation is the biggest award an actor can receive!" |
