For sure they would have been together before the show. So when Gautam was casted for Karna, they intentionally picked Pankhuri for Draupadi. To push this false narrative. Of course people know the reality but these subtle things do work.

Coming to this I always had this thought that swastik intentionally picked better actor for Karna and an Ok kinda actor for Arjun. To give the impression of Karna being better than Arjun. Because people will remember performances. Not Facts as we all know it.
