Honestly if you aren't Nostalgic, It's the best Version beating BRC for me. But everyone has its own Choice. If they focused on story bit more it would have been legendary. But Swastik being Swastik ignored it. Every other thing was 10x BRC for me. DD national is showing BRC daily now and barring the Title song, Everything is so cartoonish man. Plus a lot of dialogues were out ot place and context of that era.

I know there were restrictions but never felt like this for RS Ramayan.

What is AO3? I was actually thinking of writing an FF on MB kind of rewriting of it from the eyes of Kaurav children especially Lakshman and Karna's son Vrishsena.
