<FONT size=4>Now for Part 1</FONT>

<FONT size=4> The Maan's house was brightly illuminated with tons of lights, and was bustling with tons of people. And why shouldn't it have been, today was the wedding of Balraj's oldest daughter Heer Maan. Heer had always believed in love, ever since she had witnessed it in her childhood, Meet and Mahi. Mahi had ran away with her love going against her entire family. Heer remembered this very well, since it was her birthday and her first account of true love. Heer remembered how Mahi had burned the barn, just to be with her love, Heer also remembered what Mahi had told her 'Heer, pyarr se badkar koi ahasass nahi hota. Pyarr main sab sahi, aur sab sacha lag tha hai. Jab tujhe pyarr hoga na, tab shayad tujhe samajma ayyega ki maine assa kyun kiya.' But even though Heer believed all this, she knew her father was always right, and if her father had choose Manmeet as her life partner, than Manmeet it was'</FONT>

<FONT size=4> When Heer was first born, her parents had arranged her marriage with Manmeet. And ever since then Manmeet was her jeevan sathi'And today June 1^st was her wedding. A couple of days ago a panjitji had come, and read Heer's kundili. He said that 'June 1^st ko Heer ki zindagi badal jayegi' Heer's parents, both Balraj and Teji were ecstatic to hear that. All they wanted was for their children to be happy. </FONT>

<FONT size=4> But little did they know, that Heer was anything but happy. She couldn't explain it but she wasn't as happy as a dulhan should have been'She was on the terrace of her house, looking over toward the backyard of her house, looking up into the sky seeing the moon and stars shine. 'Patha nahi main kush kyun nahi hoon, jab ke main bachpan main janthi thi ki mere shaddi Manmeet ke saath hone hai'Mann ajj na jane kun bechain hai, assa lagtha hai kuch bouth acha hone wala hai'Shayad Panditji sahi the, ki aaj mere zindagi badal jaye gi'Liken mere sapne ka kya'? Main ek doctor ban na chathi thi'Mummyji, aur Daddyji neh ithne paise waste kiye mujhe college bejne ke liye'</FONT>

<FONT size=4>Heer held her masters degree out and threw it in the air'and watched it fly by'</FONT>

<FONT size=4>'Didi, app yahan!Jaldi neche chalo barath anne wali hai..'Meher said, all excited</FONT>

<FONT size=4>'aye' Heer replied </FONT>

<FONT size=4>Soon enough after Heer let go of her dreams, she was taken downstairs'Only to be horrified at what she saw'</FONT>

<FONT size=4>A crowd of people, surrounding something'All she could really see was everyones sad, shocked face'Meher on the floor crying'What was going on she wondered? Heer glanced over at her dad, his eyes were numb, and he looked like someone slapped him across the face'Teji shortly let go of Heer's hand, and walked over to the center'But seeing what was there made her mother fall to the ground crying'Something was defiantly wrong Heer thought, when a women came up to her and said 'How sad, kitni jawan thi humhari Heer, aur usske saath ithna bura' '</FONT>
