I too hope Sitara stops hating Salar. Maybe her friend will make her see the benfits of her broken engagements.. and that Salar saved her. This cute friend of Sitara stands with her in the darkest situations.
I don't know why sometimes I feel Sitara wants a reason to keep hating Salar and blaming him for all the troubles in her life. It is Salar who pointed at the injustice which Sitara is getting by her family members when they were still friends. He tried to open her eyes.. and sometimes she was thinking about the incidents in which they left her behind to go shopping, and Nimi creating that scene in Salar's room, and Kiran and her mom. Insteed of blaming those ppl she finds Salar the easier target.
I think the grave mistake Salar did was insulting her in public in Ehtisham's waleema.
I don't blame Sitara though, especially at the moment. Too many bad things are happening to her in rapid succession. First, the badnaami in bedroom incidence and barely a day or two later, the humiliation at waleema. Given these two incidences, her wedding with Qasim was practically rushed perhaps within less than a month. Qasim ditches her at their wedding and barely four-five days later, she is being married off to that Qatari guy. And not to mention, the absolute corrosion of any trust and affection she had received over the years from her family. And all for what, a guy who she met at the beginning of her cousin's wedding and who is not only not what he seemed, but clearly is incredibly privileged and has utilized that privilege for humiliating her.
If you look at all the four big bad things that has happened to her, they are all related to Salar somehow.
1. The badnaami, where Salaar did not support her and led to her family turning away from her
2. The humiliation, which Salar did, and led to reduction of her choices to Qasim and Qatari dude, followed by Salaar harassing her with claims of truth (which she herself is aware of) and feeble attempts at a non-apology.
3. Breaking of her wedding with Qasim, which happened thanks to Salaar, followed by any breaking of illusion that Qasim was trustworthy, which is accompanied by constant phone calls mocking her upcoming marriage with Qasim and claims of hamdardi from Salaar.
4. Then her last option - the Qatari dude. Salaar breaks that off with public promises of love and marriage and she just finds out that Qasim left thanks to Salar, which officially in her eyes means that Qasim would have married her if it were not for Salar's interference and Salar has actually left her completely "ruined" with her badnaami and no marital options.
Add to that, if tomorrow, he suggests a fake engagement at the dinner, I am pretty sure Sitara's reaction is pretty justified. From her point of view, he is literally toying with her life with very little consideration for any consequences. It is true that her family didn't really care for her, but at least she had relatives, a home and a semblance of freedom including the choice of her groom. All this has been snatched away from her by a guy who wasn't even the person she thought he was when they were friends. So, from Sitara's perspective, gratitude to door ki baat hai, she is justified in her anger, giving baddua (she will regret it later though) and her hatred.
