Is she afraid to fall in love with him, so she is building those barriers to protect her self?smiley2

Yes. Salman is my last hope. And although he is an evil I like him. smiley4

We know he is doing all these in sympathy for her, but she thinks that he is doing all these to take revenge, to defame her & so is continuously insulting him and will also reject his love. At a point, because of the continuous insult and rejection, he might become like Salaar of Ruposh and do what he did in that movie.

I don't know why sometimes I feel Sitara wants a reason to keep hating Salar and blaming him for all the troubles in her life. It is Salar who pointed at the injustice which Sitara is getting by her family members when they were still friends. He tried to open her eyes.. and sometimes she was thinking about the incidents in which they left her behind to go shopping, and Nimi creating that scene in Salar's room, and Kiran and her mom. Insteed of blaming those ppl she finds Salar the easier target.smiley13 I think the grave mistake Salar did was insulting her in public in Ehtisham's waleema.

I don't blame Sitara though, especially at the moment. Too many bad things are happening to her in rapid succession. First, the badnaami in bedroom incidence and barely a day or two later, the humiliation at waleema. Given these two incidences, her wedding with Qasim was practically rushed perhaps within less than a month. Qasim ditches her at their wedding and barely four-five days later, she is being married off to that Qatari guy. And not to mention, the absolute corrosion of any trust and affection she had received over the years from her family. And all for what, a guy who she met at the beginning of her cousin's wedding and who is not only not what he seemed, but clearly is incredibly privileged and has utilized that privilege for humiliating her.

If you look at all the four big bad things that has happened to her, they are all related to Salar somehow.

1. The badnaami, where Salaar did not support her and led to her family turning away from her

2. The humiliation, which Salar did, and led to reduction of her choices to Qasim and Qatari dude, followed by Salaar harassing her with claims of truth (which she herself is aware of) and feeble attempts at a non-apology.

3. Breaking of her wedding with Qasim, which happened thanks to Salaar, followed by any breaking of illusion that Qasim was trustworthy, which is accompanied by constant phone calls mocking her upcoming marriage with Qasim and claims of hamdardi from Salaar.

4. Then her last option - the Qatari dude. Salaar breaks that off with public promises of love and marriage and she just finds out that Qasim left thanks to Salar, which officially in her eyes means that Qasim would have married her if it were not for Salar's interference and Salar has actually left her completely "ruined" with her badnaami and no marital options.

Add to that, if tomorrow, he suggests a fake engagement at the dinner, I am pretty sure Sitara's reaction is pretty justified. From her point of view, he is literally toying with her life with very little consideration for any consequences. It is true that her family didn't really care for her, but at least she had relatives, a home and a semblance of freedom including the choice of her groom. All this has been snatched away from her by a guy who wasn't even the person she thought he was when they were friends. So, from Sitara's perspective, gratitude to door ki baat hai, she is justified in her anger, giving baddua (she will regret it later though) and her hatred.

I don't understand Salaar's actions. After the Qatar guy was gone, he should've told her Taya that I did this drama to prevent her from marrying a person of two children. He should've told him that her going into his bedroom wasn't her fault and that she is innocent, and he shouldn't punish her for the thing she didn't do. I don't see much difference between him and Qasim. To get Sitara, Qasim had no problem if she remaimed Badnaam, and Salaar is doing the same; he doesn't want her to ruin her life, but just like Qasim, he is also not reinstating her honor.

That Ruposh guy was a loser since word : go. I am doubting Salar will be like him. As you see he helped that servant's kid learning English. His family members who know him well say that he is kind. So if he ditches Sitara later it will be because he'll be fade up of her accusations and badtameezi. smiley24

Ok. From her pov Sitara's haterd might be justified. But what was she thinking leaving her relatives to control her life .. get her married to a guy double her age or more.. She didn't think of her future for a moment. She listened to her aunties talking about the gifts and the money they had to pay to get her married to that guy. So much insults, and she kept quiet. She said : No , No for Salar's proposal.. but she accepted that guy. She was going to ruin her life just coz of badnami. I thought Sitara was a fighter.. but she surrendered easily.

I know with the huge pressure of her family, and none to support her she lost hope, and couldn't think well, or stay firm rejecting to marry that guy. However she could've at least felt relieved when she skipped that marriage.

I don't think that he is hiding it intentionally. He is just that insensible that he has not yet thought of it (besides the confrontation with Qasim). Narratively speaking, the truth not coming out as yet means that there is a chance that there will an explosive fallout of it, particularly say in a public event or something, once Nimi and Kiran are exposed. Nimi and by extension Kiran as well both deserve to be dragged through hell for what they put Sitara through.

I think she is just pretty traumatised at this point. After all, she created a bubble around herself with the idea that her family does love and care for her despite subconsciously knowing that that is not the case. Even the best of fighters need breathing space to get back up on their feet to strike back. With things deteriorating this rapidly, I doubt she is even thinking of fighting back for her freedom. As of now, she is fighting for scraps of honour and protection that defined by her own worldview as well as shreds of her family's lost love including her own brother's. Plus she is also quite young, probably around just 20 or so and still a college student in comparison to Salar who is probably around 23 or 24 and with much more experience and exposure to the world. She has a lot of growing up to do. I feel that her no for Salar was out of the idea that this guy is going to torment her and given his wealth, she would just be a toy for him. In her perspective, he was mocking and humiliating her family pretty badly in the wedding already. She looked literally freaked out. The Qatar dude is probably from their own class and section of the society, something she knows how to navigate. Not to mention, Salar has proven himself to be very aggressive at times and unpredictable, something that she clearly averse to. What she needs right now are time, space and some peace of mind to think things through without being under incredible duress. Unfortunately, as of now, she does not have any of them.

Hope Salar does not get engaged to Nimi in spite of Sitara agreeing to marry Salman. The poster makes it seem like Nimi has a greater role to play

Like you said she couldn't think well because of all the things that happened which roopshah1 mentioned. At present, her priority is to get a name which can hide her. And people will stop the insults. She wants some peace.

Coming to her relatives as roopshah1 mentioned she has a place to stay and she had an option to choose her groom before. At least, no body dared to question her character. Now it's different she just wants to go and disappear from all the people and wants to peacefully complete her studies. That's why she agreed to this marriage where she felt that she can have that peace. But she doesn't know that people like her relatives exist everywhere who constantly taunts her.

Salaar is unserious about the marriage. He is not happy with the married life of his parents, so even if he genuinely falls in love with her, he may still break her heart and faraar.
