Vivek was only whining because he got 41 calls.. and he actually confessed that Ash scolded him for doing the press conference which cost him his career. Whatever he did, he did it to himself in his desperation to be called a hero. And boy he failed so badly

Aishwarya was too scared to take any action against Salman. Just one statement from her against Salman could have got him behind bars. She should have filed a police complaint when Salman abused her on the sets of Chalte Chalte but she chose to keep quite. She should have tried to speak up. She always dodged the topic of Salman and never spoke up. The only thing I respect about her is that she didn't forgive Salman. But it's sad that she kept quite and failed to take action against her abuser.

She was dating him privately but refused to acknowledge that in public. Or may be she was not serious about him but he was.

Her father did go to the police and obtained a restraining order against him.. I think that was as much as she could have done, after publicly exposing him and saying that he’s abused her and continues to harass her.

So your “failed to take action against her abuser” take is absolutely untrue.
