It's usually those men who beat their wives up ,pick unnecessary fights with service staff and blame their children for 'disappointing ' them. The ones who make it out of toxicity without ever addressing 'trauma' are rare exceptions. Bottling things up is what ruins men and those around them. We have 'brave' men to thank for many of the world's problems.

In this case he wasn't saying he's traumatised because his father raised his voice. He associates it with quarrels, the fear of their family breaking, losing their home etc. And who knows ,maybe he saw his mother getting beaten up ,maybe he was beaten up himself. There's nothing 'soy' about not wanting to be reminded of any of that no matter what your age is. But being unreasonable and using it to control others is not okay.

I think Alia making more efforts than him was known fact. I saw some parts of it where he spoke abt his parents. One of the things that people don’t understand is how much parents fight can affect kids. Our desi culture is like fight as much as you want but never divorce which is like putting you through so much emotionally.it seems like neetu like a lot of mothers was finding emotional comfort from Ranbir. He was saying how he didn’t know what his dad’s pov was while his mom shared everything. Such moms tend to be little difficult when their son brings a partner home. She might have soften to Alia cos she saw how much Alia changed herself for Ranbir and the grandkid definitely played a role. Also I had seen their interview where neetu was like Rishi expects the same relation with Ranbir like the one which he had with his father which more of respect and fear rather than friendship.

Its a good thing Ranbir admitted than he didn’t make many changes. I wonder having a difficult father figure in both their lives might have led to forming a bond. Mahesh Bhatt isn’t exactly father of the year either.just cos Alia doesn’t speak up much about it doesn’t mean her dad is great. Until she is madly in love with him all this will work. The day she feels tired of being with him he might have to step up if he doesn’t want to loose her

This whole thing is just unbelievable. So he has never yelled at someone himself? His daughter has never almost fallen and he has never "raised his voice" smiley36It just sounds cray cray to me. His mom and sis have never yelled at home? His friends have never yelled at home? SLB is known to yell and shout, he never shouted at Ranbir? Everyone just walks on eggshells around him?

He has been on the Kapil Sharma so many times where everything is loud, does he want them to shut down the show as well?

Yeah I don't buy it. Well both things can be true at the same time. He's probably had some volume related triggers but he also uses his bad childhood to excuse selfishness. Alia can be very hyper so I get why that would make somebody uncomfortable. But with the kid falling thing he's crossing the line.

There was that story from a while ago where it was 'revealed' how SLB hit Ranbir across his face. That however I think is BS. I don't think Sanjay would assume he could get away with hitting Rishi Kapoor's son. And now it sounds odd. Okay so if you are upset when your wife fusses over the kid how do you recollect the SLB slap incident casually like it was some coming of age experience

No, but he talked about how he met her when he was 20 and she was only 9. That story is not cute and they need to stop talking about it.

They are delulu and think that story shows how they are soulmates who were meant to be together from the beginning of time and everything/everyone else was just a pit stop til they found each other again. That's why they keep repeating it everywhere and even have a picture of 9 year old Alia with grown Ranbir in their apartment.

Imo, Alia and Ranbir are two messed-up persons who went into a messed-up relationship which they crowned with a messed-up marriage bond.

From the official start of being together as a couple they (spontaneously?) revealed things about the partner that - with some reflection - wasn't really positive. In addition, the working together in a movie neither was positive, and not even both winning the best actor Filmfare award.

So, the couple image isn't very stable - neither on the personal level nor on the professional one. There is just one serious bond...but I worry a bit how it may get 'used' ...
