Why not Vicky if Alia was accepted?

I see so many comments on here that Vicky is ugly and what not. And I want to ask, if you were ready to accept Alia Kapoor as the "top heroine", then why not Vicky?

Alia is also not good-looking, and cant even hold a spark to the level of beauty we have had in the past. She neither has the looks nor physicality, nor the dancing skills or even aura that a top heroine has.

Also - whats wrong with the way Vicky looks? You all keep making fun of him and its annoying. I think he is GORG. How come this forum only considers Hrithik, Ranbir and Sid good looking and not Vicky? The other day I called Ajay Devgn a snack and was attacked too. Beauty comes in diverse forms....Ajay and Vicky are also good looking, not to mention the charm/intensity is a whole other thing

Vicky has arrived and is STAYING. He can act, he can dance, he is hot in his own way - and there is so much more on the way from him.

Vicky is hot, of late he has started looking like a snack, much better than Kat anyway.

While I agree with you. But I think you are microscopically looking at this forum. As a whole on Reddit and Pinkvilla Vicky has a lot more fangirls than Aloo ever had a fanboys. Some may not see it. But the man has his own unique appeal.

IMO Vicky is more attractive than Varun, Tiger, and yes, feminine-looking Ranbir. There has been nothing ruggedly masculine about him ever since he entered. He was thin and looked like Neetu Kapoor face-wise. Due to alcohol and smoking his looks have only been further deteriorating.

Next we will be looking past Sara, Jahnvi, Suhana, and Ananya. Who neither really are great looking compared to 90s actresses or that talented.

Colorism and bigotry with a bit of classism thrown in there. Vicky has darker complexion so he’s not seen as handsome. Ranbir and Varun are not good looking men but they’re fair skinned so people call them handsome. Also if Vicky was a Kapoor or a Dhawan or a Bhatt he would have been seen differently. Sad but true unfortunately.

Other factors at play are also KJo’s marketing, and PR, which has really elevated Alia in every way. And women have the advantage of make up, and there’s hair styling too. Women are seen more glammed up than men so Alia has that advantage too over Vicky.

Vicky is not classically handsome but he is attractive. Alia is not gorgeous but she has a cute face.

Ranbir also takes advantage of styling I would argue. His wig is not any less than woman's hair styling. And I am pretty sure male actors wear makeup as well in the film industry.

At least Vicky still has a full head of hair!
