You know how I see it is... Though they dont care for Ani but they definitely know his weakness...His parents, Bipasha everyone...They know how much he is craving for acceptance...he won't do anything that can tarnish their respect ..he would not want to drop down in front of their parents...may be that's how they have dealt with him always...by emotionally manupulating and blackmailing..

So it is their way of stopping him....if they ask it again and again by expressing how disappointed they are of him..then he might stop this..

But their tactic failed with Jhanak..

Even after so much pressure he is still gumaoying ..he is not telling them ki.." okay I promise I won't look for her again"..

Hence they are frustrated....they are also scared of this change in their behaviour as he is their golden child...they need him for their respect and status in society...they don't want him to rebel..

Bold; I would love it soo much...not for anyone but for Ani only...he deserves it ..after soo much longing and craving for her love and affection....
