While I appreciate Mauli commitment to family duties but she needs to understand what type of family is this.Ignorant, self obsessed and ungrateful one she doesn't need to have any validation from this family. Her true family in essence here is only and only Manoj,Ajanta I am not counting her as family at all she has done nothing but throwing taunts at her in the past and now behaving like a damn furniture.Even in yesterday's episode when Vijay-Manoj fight Tanvi did spoke up but majaal hai Ajanta ne apna main rat toda ho.Nevertheless Mauli needs to open her eyes and see the facts what is in front of her har baar Rahul nahi rehga bachane ke liye aise kis ko bhi kuch bhi promises nahi de sakti kalko Rahul se na shaadi karne ka vaada le liye uss SS ne emotionally influence karke kya karegi de degi ka vaada.Yes you were her ati mahaanta need to stop it makes her look like an servant of these family members kalko khane khane ke liye bhi family ka permission legi kya Mauli. She needs to understand marriage is individual choice its modern times now not same ancient days where family used to fix marriages without asking one's wishes. If at all she should change that and bring some modernization into this family naaki jo bhi yeh log bole woh karti jaaye.

Exactly both of them have their own pros & cons.

Absolutely Mauli needs to see what kind of ppl she's doing all of this for & I guess that's what Rahul wants too. Mrs. Furniture rightly said she's not to be considered as a family to Mauli cos she hasn't done anything for her to be considered so. Same here Mauli ke liye na shi apne pati ka to saath de sakti thi pr na wahan bhi chup chap khadi thi. Why the hell is she even here when her being there makes no difference.

It's high time Mauli needs to open her eyes & see things & I feel Rahul is upto the same thing too. As u've said hamesha Rahul nhi rhega to support & make her see sense. I strongly feel Rahul is gonna teach both Mauli & this family a very good lesson.

Coming on topic it's not like Rahul didn't respect Mauli's wish before he tried his best to make understand his family i.e Tanjay only.He is clear in that aspect on who his family his isne kabhi bhi SS ko manane ki koshish nahi ki kyunki woh iski extended family hai.But he tried 1-2 times he understood their thoughts are ancient inclined there's no way they will understand his relationship with Mauli and accept it and he took matter into his own hands and did what he thought was right of him and Mauli.Thats a natural human behaviour and from Rahul it was already expected this is his personality.

Having said that Rahul has also at fault here.He was perfectly aware of Mauli's intention towards this marriage yet anyway he did this by not respecting Mauli's wishes and going against it.Yes Mauli is ati mahaan and it would seem this was only way for him to marry her but atleast he should have discussed it with Mauli beforehand.I know Mauli wouldn't have entertained it but he would have atleast put forward his clear intentions towards Mauli before taking this step.He was clearly impulsive and immaturish behaviour by him which was rare coming from him and not expected atleast by Mauli. She would have felt betrayed a little by this stunt hence the contrast in thoughts I mentioned before. These were my thoughts and I rest my case here.

P.s On a lighter note yeh gharwalo mein koi dnyan wagera deta hai ki nahi Rahul ne ek hi din mein do baar bhaag ke shaadi kar li (almost) aur koi dnyan dene wala hi nahi.Another self obsessed personality example of this family.

Totally on point about Rahul. He is truly a gem.

The clarity he has always has been a unique character trait of his. Totally agreed that what he's done is completely normal human behaviour & everyone tends to make mistakes which is very very normal.

It's not like Rahul didn't respect Mauli's wishes completely. He did respect her & was with her throughout. The samaroh thing was what triggered him & we also can't ignore the fact that whatever he did was for Mauli more than himself. But yeah this act of intoxication was immature. Both of them r different & react differently to situations & it's nthg new cos they've always been so leading to the contrast.

Are ye log aise hi hain. I'm sure agar clown nhi dekhta na to inlogo ko kuch pata nhi chalta about Rauli eloping. 😂🤣

Just saw the episode and there's quite a lot to unpack. First and foremost I completely don't agree with Rahul's actions, no matter how good the intention was. No one should be forced to marry in an unconscious state so Mauli's anger is justified.

Coming to the episode, their face off was the highlight and really emphasized the current battle that both Rahul and Mauli will have to deal with first before they can take on the family: hope & positivity vs reality & facts.

Having hope or being positive of a situation isn't a bad thing. It motivates people and can bring them together. However being too hopeful and ignoring the facts and reality that are present and staring you in the face produces major blindspots. Rahul has come to terms with the reality of their situation and is trying to use facts to reason with Mauli. But unfortunately her hopefulness has caused a major blindspot for her where she cannot see the disrespect being given to her nor can she tell when someone is using her.

I agree with the earlier analysis of these two being on two different wave lengths. They are - they're not seeing eye to eye and until they can get on the same page, they won't be able to fight this family and their ancient thoughts together.

In regards to Rahul not speaking up for her, he did and I felt he did as much as he could. He's honest and gutsy but respectful at the same time. But what this points out is society's continued bias to blame everything and anything on the girl - even if she's not at fault. Something Rahul was trying to explain to her. It's a cruel reality and something this family will need to check themselves on before they can continue to be all high and mighty amongst society.

I have more thoughts on the recap but want to see how the week plays out. But noticed a few other interesting pieces during the episode:

- Vaibhav seemed pretty calm after everyone came home and even mentioned that if they thought this was a shock they have no idea what's coming. My best guess is that he instigated Rati to go to Rahul (perhaps comfort him and maybe propose marriage) and its from this that Rahul comes up with this fake marriage plan.

- It looks like Vijay's issue with Manoj isn't him leaving the house. But instead Manoj being chosen over Vijay to be the doctor in the family. He's brought this whole doctor sacrifice thing up many times and despite saying he's happy for his brother, comes off resentful for it (Vaibhav definitely takes after him). Manoj doesn't really bring up Vijay's business but he doesn't hesitate to constantly bring to a doctor reference.

- Through all of Rahul's reasoning nothing got Mauli offended enough to continue with the marriage than him questioning her love for him. I feel this "proving how much she loves him" is going to come into play much later - when we eventually move on from this track.

Sorry for the two posts. Didn't want it to be one long essay.

absolutely agreed with you Rahul's actions can be deemed as impulsive and immaturish and a decision which was taken in a heat of the moment and it was not thought through.

Agreed they need to clear their differences first, get their goals and thinking aligned before they deal with this family drama.

Mauli is really blindsided at the moment and she herself has to realize the reality here by dropping her ati mahaan attitude where it isn't necessary which is causing her blindsideness in the first place.

Rahul has perfectly understood that this family will not pay any heed to him or Mauli just by words its time for some action to make them understand the ground reality here and yes he stood up yesterday as much as he can though it feels bare minimum to us but if society is head on to blame everything on a girl then nothing can be done and agreed its a cruel and sad reality of this society we live in.

Rahul's actions were reckless no doubt but at the same time u can't ignore that what all he did was for Mauli's benefit. And ofc Mauli's reaction was justified.

Same here their face off was good & it's very healthy to have such contrasts in any relationship.

Definitely being positive is good but being ati mahan is not which is the case with Mauli. Rahul has been seeing this reality right from day 1 & trying to make Mauli see too. But her overtly positive attitude is not letting her see the very obvious thing which I feel is gonna happen considering what Rahul is upto.

Exactly he did speak up for her. Agreed with rest of the part too.

Yup let's see exactly how all of this plays out.

I too feel the same regarding Clown & his calmness. Will have to see in today's episode what exactly played out.

Exactly Vijay is bitter with Manoj about the doctor thing more than him leaving the house & it's pretty clear as they've bought it up quite a lot of times.

This thing was very normal cos when it's about love being questioned u tend to go to any heights to prove it. Yeah this may come up again too.

No probs. 😁😁

Maybe or maybe not it will be only clear when we watch further episodes down the week what shenanigans is Vaibhav up to.

Ofcourse he is having a issue of Manoj being the chosen one and looks like he hadn't comes to term from it till now.Its a sly dig at him when he says he is happy for him but clearly he is not and he is constantly trying to bring it up to make others realize that what a sacrifice he has done Manoj by not studying much so Manoj can become doctor. He makes it like Manoj should be forever indebted to him for this sacrifice he has made for him which he is.

Nah it's ok you can post as many times as you want we don't really mind reading your views and I agree that whole Rahul-Mauli arguement was frustrating and it could be avoided if both were in same wavelengths but clearly its lacking.

Completey agreed.

Both of them need to perfectly align themselves together first.

True Mauli needs to let go of her ati mahanta which is what I feel Rahul is upto.

Considering how smart Rahul is it was expected of him to understand all of this first. He too knows that now speaking won't do much rather some proper actions need to be taken which he's gonna do. In such situations how much ever speaking u do it will come across as bare minimum only so can't blame Rahul much. Sadly that's the reality.

True what exactly is clown upto it'll be clear with the passing episodes.

DU is not that much happy with Manoj's success as much as he seems & it's very clear & that's the reason he keeps bringing it up again & again.

I would like to differ here the argument was enjoyable rather than frustrating. It bought out the contrast between Rauli beautifully & it was very very normal & healthy in a relationship.
