Just wanna add Maya and Wahaj have been friends since 2009 - that's 15+ years of friendship. Both became friends when neither were actors and were just starting off on their first jobs at Samaa TV. Wahaj and his family stood by Maya at the time when her father practically disowned her because she wanted to join acting. She had talked about his support when no one stood by her.

Maya and her family are close to Wahaj's whole family. If you look at Maya's old pics, videos and stories she has posted over the years, you will realize how many of them have Wahaj's wife and child present (without Wahaj).
