I was wondering the same then i remembered reading about bird flu strain which has started affecting humans too has started knocking on our doors. Probably that's why.

I wondered too because I don’t see many wearing them since the cdc lifted the mask mandated but it’s good pre caution though I think n95 masks do more then just the regular masks unless they level 3. But in case it just on bird strain then it’s adequate.
