I feel its just not the right occasion. I think this was panchayat premiere if I read right. If she had to wear this on a holiday out, beach day probably I would probably be okay with it. Occasions like this I would have liked to see her more dressier

Vera honestly has an elixir of life or a damn good derm or both

Let anyone wear anything, shes not commoner that she will go in bus or auto or walk on streets to be abused by man/boys for wearing such dress

Being rich and famous she has security that no one can touch her in appropriately while wearing such dress that society and men think is ok to misbehave with woman wearing such dress usually on roads and public

Its commoner women who are target ted and troubled for wearing dress they like to wear like how shes worn

She was born in 1960s may be when such dress no woman in india was permitted to wear. Only one life all humans have. Let her wear what she wants and be happy. Women born before 2000s had no freedom to wear modern dress so they wear it even after 35-40 nowadays because when they were 16 they had no such permission or freedom. In west, you can dress like a teenager in your 90s too.
